I have just discovered the Elliptical trainer upstairs at my local Y after hurting my lower calf muscle which meant i could not take part in group fitness for a few days. I love it ! All excellent advice .... i do spin all the time and it is one of those classes where you sweat almost straight away ! i always have a bottle of water with ice and water in it and in the warmer months a wet wash cloth to wipe my face down and keep me cool !! You will love it its a great workout

I always have 4 or 5 almonds before a workout and that seems to work a treat

I have never done it (not sure if my old bones can handle it) but we did a snippet of it in a Les Mills Launch and it looked awesome. Its very high impact you would burn tonnes of calories :)

I agree i am still overweight but not for long now i have discovered MFP .... have normal everything and resting heartrate of around 57 to 60. No excuse to be fit :)

I have recently starting using the Elliptical trainer at my local YMCA after hurting my calf muscle in one of the group fitness classes. I am pretty impressed with it ... Im the same .... if i am hungry first thing in the morning i will have 4 or 5 almonds and that seems to do the trick.

I burn around 350 to 450 calories doing RPM. I have been doing for over a year now and do 3 classes a week. I find it hard now to get the calories up so am going to drop a couple of the classes and do something different. I have a Polar FT7 HRM

Curves is a awesome workout if you only have 1/2 hr a day or a few times a week to workout. But if u have done spin/pump/vive etc you may find Curves a bit too easy. :)

I was finding that. i read somewhere to get half a lemon doesnt matter if it has been squeezed put some honey on it and then rub over your face and leave for 2 mins then wash off. It works a treat for me.

The way i think of MFP is its a food tracker and as long as you are having a caloric deficit then your body will shed weight. I am actually amazed at how much i get to eat and how i can incorporate everything into my day. I am a gym junkie and love a great workout and wear a Polar FT7 to keep track of of calories burnt…
