I love my spin classes its one of my favs !! the more you do it the easier it gets. Expect to be tender when u sit and expect to sweat up a storm. The more you do it (as with anything) the easier it gets ... Good luck

I have only ever done a few Combat classes but i loved them. There are always lower options.

When I first started using one i could barely do 1 min. Now i could use it all day long if i didnt get bored. Its a great workout.

I am of similar height and weight and 48 years of age. I like to do a hour + a day exercise ... i do Rev (like RPM but goes for a hour) Body Vive, War ( like combat ) and my own stuff at home its all moderate to high impact and i love it all. I think the more you the more your body adjusts.

i do RPM ATTACK COMBAT BODY VIVE REV WAR all full on workouts and some are HIIT workouts and i am 224

I love HIIT workouts and try and do one most days. Les Mills Combat/Attack or Group RX Rev/War love it all .... love getting breathless and all sweaty !

Found MFP in July 2012 Lost 8 kilos since learning how to use it (not alot but slow and steady wins the race ;) ) Have had many celebrations holidays etc through the year and still have lost 8 kilos Became addicted to Group Fitness ... Thanks Lou ! Looking forward to another good 15 ~ 20 kilos gone in 2013 Bring it on !

I have asthma and i do cardio every day and am still over weight. I use a steroid puffer but i have found by getting breathless that that has helped my asthma heaps. If i get weezy i just take my Ventolin but all in all exercise has helped heaps.

Ditto i do this all the time ~ makes a nice refreshing healthy guilt free Lemon Cordial :)

I do a hour spin class 3 times a week ... i find if i eat 5 almonds just before hand it keeps the hunger at bay

Congratulations on a job well done so far !! Loved what you wrote .... i am like you slow and steady as long as the clothes are getting looser that is really all that matters in my mind !!!!

I am loving my cross trainer at my local Y and any group fitness class i can get into. I like to mix it up. I am a bigger person but have been working out every day for years. I struggle to burn calories (i have a FT7). Eighty minutes on the crosstrainer will burn around the 600 mark .... i wish i could burn more though :(.

I personally eat mine back .... i have a HRM and if i burn 600 calories i log 500. I actually feel funny eating all that food and still losing a pound a week.

Like u i was horrified to see how many calories in them and for a bit when i started MFP i didnt eat them but found i missed them terribly. I know have 10 a day :)

To workout every day and smash 500 to 800 calories a day !

Ditto its all about numbers to me if i feel like chocolate i have it just make sure it fits in on my day :) .... I am lucky though i am a gym junkie so i can have extras for the day
