Your BMI is in the really healthy range, so I'm confused as to why you want to lose 10lbs. With your age and the fact that you said you feel leaner, I think you're doing great. Just using some different BMI calculators online I feel like if you lose 10lbs you'll be underweight. I am no expert, but I'd focus more on toning…

You're doing so amazing! And I think it's amazing that you can say you didn't gain the freshman 15 and in fact have lost over twice that. Your accomplishments so far are certainly something to be proud of! Keep up the great work!

I'd say give them away and use that as a motivation to keep on the healthy lifestyle you're on. I know I'm very motivated to not want to have to go out and buy bigger clothes. And if I don't have bigger clothes on hand, I know I'm less inclined to get to a point where I'm comfortable knowing I'd have those bigger clothes…

My old excuse was that clothing companies were making sizes smaller than they used to. I never thought to blame the dryer back when I was making excuses and in denial.

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's better to overeat as little as possible. If you've already gone over today, try to find low-cal options for the rest of the day and workout so your net calories aren't so high.

My boyfriend and I are doing Power 90 right now. It's definitely helping to build up my strength, and we're only on day 17 as of today.
-
I just started doing Power 90 with my boyfriend. So far I'm loving it, and after only a week I'm already noticing a difference in my endurance.
-
That's awesome! Keep up the good work!!

Be careful of their under 550 calorie meals...they're loaded with sodium (most have almost the recommended daily totals in just the one meal). I suggest looking up their nutrition information and looking at both calories and sodium of the items that interest you then making your decision from there.

My coworkers started noticing after about 10lbs, and now they make regular comments.

I cycle between a few different options so I don't get bored: --1 cup of multigrain cheerios with 1/2 cup milk (and sometimes 1/2 cup fruit) --1 serving Cream of Wheat with 1/2 cup fruit (berries are great) --1 bagel thin or light english muffin with 1 Tbsp peanut butter (I use Better 'n Peanut Butter because it's got 1/2…

Thanks! I'm at work now, but I plan on checking this out when I get home.

*waves* HI! I'm up in Old Town.

WHAT?!?!?!? I hope you don't really mean that the buffet will be your only meal. That's really not healthy. I hope your planning for at least a small breakfast and supper.
-
And if you're not sure how many cups are in it, wait until it's done, then measure it all out.
-
If you're using the recipe calculator you make make the servings as big as you want them. My default is to do it by the cup. (you can always have seconds) But it's really up to you.
-
This is what we do too! We measure the final product out by the cup (usually), since that's a convenient serving size (and because we have a lot of 1 cup tupperware). I think it really helps to measure things so you know how much you're eating and if you've got room for another serving.

I'm a huge fan of tea when it comes to soothing sore throats :)

I know what you mean about being busy and it being difficult to prepare meals after a long shift. Something that works for me is preparing a large meal with tons of leftovers that I can use later in the week, or freeze to use at some later date.
-
I'd go with your scale since I assume that's the one you'll be weighing in on the most.
-
I do this too! It's so delicious. I've also used zucchini and summer squash in stir fries.
-
That just doesn't sound healthy to me. How does it work?
-
My boyfriend and I use an organic peanut butter called Better 'N Peanut Butter. It's got half the calories of regular peanut butters and tastes really good.
-
I'm not sure what your meal plan looks like, but I have to agree that tomatoes and cheese with dressing does not sound like a healthy lunch. Maybe as a snack I'd consider it healthy, but I would not consider that a healthy meal. Low cal? Absolutely. Healthy? No, there just aren't enough nutrients there.

I've been taking the generic version of One A Day Women's.

That really is interesting! I never quite realized how much of our time is spent in a sedentary way. I'm definitely going to try to get moving more at work now! Thanks for sharing this!!
-
That's so awesome! I hope all your cool rings will fit when you try them on!

It was a bit stressful to have absolutely no control over what was in the food. Most of the food had beef/pork in it, so I couldn't eat it. So I kind of just had to take what I could when I could. I surprised myself by not going over on calories, but I think the main reason for that is all the walking/stairs I did. The…

SO...I got to come home for a little bit this morning, and of course wanted to weigh in. :) So my official end of January weight is 145.5. Didn't quite hit my goal, but I'm not complaining. Woohoo!

Look up the twinkie diet online....a professor ate pretty much all junk food and lost weight, but he became much more unhealthy...there are some topic threads about it if you want to search for them.
