Correction to my OP: I'm newly in a relationship, so I'm not a single mom anymore.

Good luck everyone! I've sent a few friend requests out. I'm looking to lose about 40lbs, then go from there.

I'm jealous of your ability to sweat! I'd be proud too. No matter how hard/long I work myself, I never seem to get more than a small glisten. A coworker I frequently work out with pours sweat with every workout he does, and I'm not sure how he does it.

Count me in too. I need some more accountability lately! Though I'm at work Sunday mornings, so I'll probably do my weigh-ins on Fridays.

I can't help but notice the lack of fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, grains, and natural proteins from your diet. Is there a reason you switched to protein shakes/bars as meal replacements instead of consuming full meals? Also, is your water count accurate, because it seems really low. It might be that your body is craving…

I was having trouble sleeping for a while. Not quite to the point I'd call it insomnia, but I'd struggle to fall asleep then I'd wake up countless times throughout the night and be awake long before I wanted to, no matter how tired I was. I also had a lot of back/neck pain. I bought a new pillow (I splurged and bought a…

I went out to dinner with a guy, and he ordered rice as his only side. I asked him why no veggies, and he tried to convince me that rice was a vegetable (because it's not a meat or a fruit). He then stole food off my plate (a huge pet peeve). He also spent the entire meal staring at me and making comments such as "you're…

Way to go!! That's awesome that you've done so well!

That's so amazing! Congratulations on improving your health so dramatically!

Work it girl!!

Finishing a great workout, knowing that I'd pushed myself as hard as I could. Then as the weight started to really come off and stay off, I was so proud of myself. Now that I hit maintenance, I just take even greater pride and happiness from all I've accomplished!

Agreed. My smoothies are frozen fruit, skim milk, and sometimes protein powder (I like the chocolate peanut butter). But I like the smoothies with just milk and frozen fruit.

I pick up Thin N Trim oven roasted turkey from the deli. It's the lowest I've found on sodium (260mg for 2oz). I've also found the people who work in the deli to be extremely helpful when I have questions about the nutritional information on deli meats.
-
Yeah, I'm sure they have some calories, though it'll be a small amount. The thing to watch out for with pickles is the insanely high sodium!!
-
I second this! Great progress!!

So cute! Thanks for sharing

I'm so interested to see results, because I'm not a morning person either and have been thinking about getting my workouts in the morning sometimes.

Do you know how much was left? If you can figure out how much was left and try to deduce how much you drank, I'd go with that. Otherwise, I agree with the people who posted above me about calling between .2 and .3

That's such an interesting idea. I really like it!

You're doing fabulous! Keep up the great work!!

Power 90 has been kicking my butt! But, I've noticed such increased definition in my muscles. I tried 30 Day Shred, but that wasn't my cup of tea, so I can't speak to that as far as toning goes. I hope you find something that works for you!
