I'm a huge fan of stir frys and think they're great with brown rice.

I can totally understand. I got up much earlier than usual this morning, and almost forgot about weighing in. But there's always tomorrow to weigh in.

Way to go! That's awesome.

Checking in at 152.1 for this week. The month started out really rough, so I'm happy with a loss at all.

Are your goals set to reflect that you want to lose weight? I'd double check that you're current weight and goal weight are correct and that your goals are set to lose weight. If these things are off MFP could be giving you calorie goals to reflect a weight gain and thus the calculation saying you'll gain 4 lbs in 5 weeks.

I haven't started the year off the best, so I'm hoping that getting back into the swing of a challenge will get me going on the right foot again. I'm really nervous about weighing in on Friday, so I'll just have to see how that goes.

You know I'm in again Nicole. My weight at the beginning of the month was 152.6. I want to get down to 142.4 by 1/31.

I just pick one of the Wii Fit entries (either the light or the vigorous) based on how hard I worked, then enter my minutes and adjust the calories to what the Wii says I had.

At the finale of last season they showed a young female saying she had to lose weight. They actually showed her, but I don't remember her story.

I couldn't really see a difference until I looked at before and during pictures. Then I could REALLY see it.

Net calories = calories you've eaten - calories earned through exercise. Ideally, according to MFP, your net calories for the day should equal the goal they set for you. A lot of people don't eat all (or any) of their exercise calories back though--That decision is up to you.

Same here. I'm getting better at remembering, but it's still a challenge. lol

I'm such a huge fan of baby carrots with hummus. It's so good, healthy, and filling. :) As for meals, I'm a big fan of all-in-one meals: stir frys; rice mixed with protein and veggies; soups, etc.

Nope. Wii Fit Plus has all that the Wii Fit had and then some.

Nicole, I'm sure you'll get down to your goal. I think sometimes we need those days of just spending time with those important to us to help us stay on track. And even though you gained a little, I'm sure the choices you made were healthier than ones you might have made in the past. Keep up the good work, and you'll be at…

Ending the year at 152.6 lbs! I met my weight goal, and in reflecting at my non-weight goals, I did a lot better than I thought I did. I continued to log every calorie consumed, which has been so helpful. This month I really realized just how much more food I can eat if I make healthy choices (like a plateful of baby…

If a drink has caffeine, I don't count it toward my water totals. I agree with Sapphira that I'd count herbal teas, but that's me. I also count stuff like Crystal light in my water totals, but know some don't.

I'd say if the nutrition says "1 cup as prepared" and it told you to add the chicken that the nutrition info includes the chicken as well.

Margie, I'm sure you'll do great since you're always pushing yourself. Even if you don't hit 205, you're doing amazing!! I haven't checked in lately because I was (up until the past week) only weighing in on Fridays. However, I've found myself wanting to weigh in every couple of days now, and it's a new and weird feeling.…

Those sound so yummy. I'll have to try them sometime.

Thanks Nicole! I am really happy that I've been so successful now. When I started this reply it occurred to me that in the picture where I was wearing the gray t-shirt I was "trying" to lose weight. I had a friend at the time who was really pushing weight loss on me and another of our friends. And I just wasn't ready to…

Nicole, I don't have any recent pictures of me, but I posted a couple below. The one of me in a gray t-shirt is from summer 09 when I was around my heaviest (probably over 200 lbs, but I'm not sure). The picture of me in the pink cheetah print tank top is from tonight (about five minutes ago lol).

Way to go Nicole! A loss is still a loss, so celebrate! I'm checking in at 157.4 this morning :)

I'm sure you did fine this week Nicole!

As has been said many times in the forums about eating disorders, seek professional help. That is your best bet if you really want help.

I used to have the same sort of issue where I'd expect to be perfect at something the first time around. It took a lot of time, but I was finally able to accept the fact that perfect is an unobtainable goal. The best I can do is to do the best I can and work to improve from there. Perfect example: I started Jillian…

So I'm not doing as well with the weekly challenges (except for getting enough water), and I'm not doing as well with my non-weight goals as I'd hoped, but I just about fainted when I got on the scale this morning and had lost 3 lbs. :) I see so many posts with people planning their workouts, that I might just have to…

Way to go! You're so close to your goal.

Way to go! That's amazing that your pants fit so well, especially with long johns on underneath! Keep up the awesome work, and enjoy yourself while hunting for bargains.

I'm kind of thinking opposite of what others have said. If you have your food diary set up to cover certain times of the day, food you eat during those times should go under that category regardless of whether it was before you went to bed or not. Otherwise, why have your food diary set up like that.
