Yes, we do. She's basically my mother in law. And yay for little boys who love water

The water I can do easily...I've been pushing myself for so long to drink more water that it's second nature now to just drink lots of water. Continuing the jumping jacks and moving during commercial breaks are still a challenge for me...Gotta start pushing myself to do these!

Way to go Margie, that's great! Sounds like you've been training hard and it's paying off :)
-
With the way you're kicking butt this month, I won't be surprised if you exceed 205! You're doing amazing!

Your blood sugar isn't necessarily related to how much sugar you eat in a day. It has to do with the complex sugars you're taking in, how often you're eating (e.g. how long it's been since you last ate), and your metabolism.

I agree. The suggestions for orange juice is good. Or you can try milk or fruit. Anything with some good, natural, complex sugars.

Checking in at 164 for the end of the week. :) It was really cool because I weigh myself on the Wii Balance Board and this morning it asked me to predict what my weight is, and I guessed 164, and that's what I ended up weighing. It's such a good feeling to be able to start recognizing how much I'm weighing without all the…

Way to go Nicole! That's great. Hopefully I'll show some good numbers when I weigh in tomorrow.

Thomas makes bagel thins which only have 110 calories each. We discovered these a few weeks ago, and they're great. As for the peanut butter, we found a brand called Better'n peanut butter. 2Tbsp is only 100 calories (vs. the 200 calories in most 2Tbsp servings of peanut butter). Not sure if these brands are available near…

The t.v. is usually on when I get to work, so I'm thinking I'll do a few different things during commercials just to push myself. I really do need to push myself to do more ab work.
-
I'm definitely on board with the push-ups and jumping jacks....will do those at work tonight when everyone goes to bed. I'll try to do the crunches, but I'm so bad at those that I'll have to really push myself to get those done.
-
Way to go! That's great. I'm hoping to step on the scale tomorrow morning before I head to work and crossing my fingers that it's gone back down.

After reading all this, I'm happy to say my boyfriend doesn't do this. He's great about helping with cleaning (especially the dishes). And he ALWAYS cleans up after shaving.

I weigh in on Friday mornings first thing when I get up. I've also started weighing in on the first and last day of the month since I've joined some monthly challenges. Very rarely do I weigh myself aside from that. I do have a Wii Fit, so sometimes if I'm doing exercise on that I'll check my weight, but I try to avoid…

Do whatever is going to work for you. Personally, I think it's a great idea to get in short bursts of exercise during commercials. If you start to get too sore or anything, scale back, otherwise I say go for it.

I'm up a little bit from Wednesday, but had major stress yesterday, so I'm thinking that's part of it. I'm at 166 now. Hoping this week coming up will be better.

Working out twice in one day is definitely better than just sitting at the computer. I did a lot of sitting today (between classes and being so sore from starting 30 day shred yesterday). Hoping to get in a good workout tomorrow though. Will check in tomorrow morning with my weight (maybe before you're able to update lol).
-
I'm changing my Non-weight goal slightly. After trying the first day of 30 Day Shred last night and being so sore I can barely walk today, I think it would be more realistic to try to get halfway through it so I'm not pushing myself to an injury.

I'm more into books with murder/kidnappings/etc. I won't list book titles, because there are MANY that I enjoy and have read over and over again. That being said, a few of my favorite authors are: Mary Higgins Clark, Tami Hoag, Alex Kava, and Iris Johansen.

Just remember that water will flush out electrolytes along with the sodium, so make sure you're not overdoing it so much that you're throwing off your electrolytes.

Name: Jess CW (12/1): 165.3 GW (12/31): 158 Non-weight goal: Exercise at least 4 days a week, continue to log EVERY calorie consumed, get at least 2/3 of the way through 30 Day Shred

This month was all about proving to myself how dedicated I am. I have been monitoring my calories better, and replacing foods I used to eat (e.g. Tons of pasta) with foods that have less calories and are more filling (e.g. veggies). It helps that MFP dropped my goal caloric intake so if I want something extra (or if a…

Looking forward to another great challenge month. I will update tomorrow with CW, GW, NWG.

Weighing in for the end of the month at 167.3 lbs. I'll have to do some thinking today about what my goal for December will be.
-
MMmmmmm That sounds really good! I'm going to have to try that one out. Thanks for sharing!
-
Congrats on exceeding your goal time for the run yesterday. That's great. And I'm sure the scale will be more agreeable on Monday after you've had time to recover from the run and Thanksgiving.
-
They're on very strict diets and work out in the gym for HOURS each day.
-
Margie, how did the run go? I'm sure you rocked it!!
-
Weighing in at 169 as of just now. I'm just excited to have lost any weight this week with TOM, Thanksgiving, and feeling sick. Feeling pretty good right now :) How did everyone else do this week?
-
I had everything I wanted and was WAY under 1200 for the day. Ended up having to have a late night snack in order to meet the 1200 calorie mark.
