I started running witht the C25K and in October (a year later) I ran a marathon! I would NOT have been able to finish it if I didnt start with the C25K first. There were times when the C25K was really hard, I most definetly was not a runner) BUT I am so glad I did it! Keep it up!

I used 2 differnt podcasts when I did the couch to 5k. One was Suz and I forget the other one but both were free and I could put it on my shuffle. (Yes, I still use an iPod shuffle, one day I will upgrade, lol) Both of them were hip hop/pop music and they used audio cues to tell you when to walk or jog etc.

I finished w4d1 this morning. I wasnt going to go, and then my dog didnt even want to get out of his bed, but we went and I am so happy about it! Someone once told me that you never regret working out after its done, but people regret NOT working out.

w3d1 done. It was tough, but I finished the whole thing. Wahoo! In the middle of one of the 3 minute runs I started thinking about how hard the next week was going to be, but then I stopped myself and reminded myself I only had to finish today, and not worry about what I would have to do later in these workouts. That…

All summer I've been taking classes at my gym, but with school starting back up, those same classes don't fit into my schedule. I needed something to keep me motivated. Through this board I found the couch prgram, downloaded a couple podcasts, and am excited to try it! I also have never been a runner, so I'm a little…
