um, no...Find a lifting program to follow to start out so you don't injure yourself. Heavier (for you) weight, fewer reps. It does not convert fat to muscle... do some research.

You can do all your workouts on the machines but head to the free weight room instead. All the exercises you do on the machines can be done with free weights. Watch & learn. I prefer to lift heavy but since you don't belong to a gym, you can do body weight exercises. There is a free app called workout trainer by skimble. It has thousands of body weight exercises to help get you in better shape. I use it for the days I can't get to the gym. I know there are other ones as well. Just do a search…

First and foremost, get your calories in check. Track everything that you eat. You can get a rough idea of calories you burn under Cardio- Weight Lifting. Keep in mind that the numbers on mfp are not 100% so the burn could be over or under.. best bet is a hrm. Try doing cut/bulk cycles. Calculate your tdee and eat at a…
