blue, I had a really hard time when I first started Lean too for that very same reason. You get used to it and better at it. :)

ChaLean Extreme is mostly strength training. You do 3 days a week of heavy lifting (workouts range from 32 minutes to 42 minutes) and then 2 days of cardio/interval training.

Also I've noticed she'll be walking around checking with everyone and then she'll walk back to the front and say "Catch your breath" in a very breathy voice as if she had been doing the workout too. Ha.

My favorite is "Time to get extreme, baby!" Everytime I start the workout, I yell that with her.

What's the one where Janelle goes REALLY light? I think it's a shoulders exercise. Everytime I yell at my TV "I'm lifting more than Janelle!"

I'm doing Lean for Life - I love doing it this way. You kinda forget what the Burn Phase was like and when you do it again you say "Oh yeah.... I remember doing that before and now I can lift more!" :)

I watch Janelle all the time....she's so strong and tight. Awesome. Laylee is just a cutie pie. Donna annoys me for some reason. She talks a lot in a couple of them and I just want her to shush. :P Toni does seem mute. Even when Chalene asks her a question she just nods. I can't think of the name of the girl Chalene calls…

I agree with this. Try some low impact aerobics with a little high impact in it. Build your endurance for a couple weeks and THEN try Shred Level 1. Try not using weights to ease into it. I just have weights from Target. I have 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 15. I really need 20s for squats, but I haven't gotten them yet.

I did one round of CLX a few years ago. Then I did my second round at the end of 2012 and now I'm doing another one. Love it, love it, love it. I'm thinking about getting Turbo Fire to do the hybrid.

I've decided to do the Lean for Life, but add in 30 Day Shred on the non-strength training days. I just did Burn 1 for the first time in over 3 months and I'm already sooooo sore. :( and :)

I started a couple weeks ago, but I haven't done it everyday. The holidays made me lazy. I've done level 1 probably 5 times and I'm still sweating like a pig at the end. I think after a couple more times I'll move onto level 2.

I started Jillian's 30 Day Shred. I'm on day 3 and I'm still doing Level 1, but I think I'll move myself up after a few more days. I was SO SORE after I did it the first time.

I'm having a hard time getting motivated after finishing CLX. Maybe it's Christmas coming up and I'll get back on track after that.

I noticed the guy in the back (can't think of his name right now) really half-*kitten* it through many of the intervals.

I wear a heart rate monitor which tracks your heart rate through the workout and calculates your calorie burn.

I have a HRM to track my calorie burn.

I highly recommend ChaLean Extreme. It's a 5 day a week program - 3 days strength and 2 days cardio. I love it. :)
