I don't take a week off between phases. I'm going into my last week of Push and I'm excited for something new. I previewed LEAN and the first thing I noticed was the people were different and they were all in metallic gold. I'm kinda scared of the LEAN phase now that I've read all of these posts! :)

I started with the same ones you have. I bought 3s and 8s after a couple weeks. You might want 3s for the warm up weight for the Burn Phase and the Intervals DVD. I'm in Push now and I know I need 20s for my legs. 15s just aren't heavy enough.

I gotta say.... my BUTT is killing me! Those crazy bowler lunges!
-
I just finished my first week of Push. I've learned that chest and bench press is my weak point. I gotta work on that.

Oh my gosh. One legged dead lifts? Is she crazy?? :P
-
I always recommend Leslie Sansone walking DVDs for people who are just starting out or who have a lot to lose. They're low impact and you can choose to do 1, 2, 3, 4 or even 5 miles at a time.

Okay.... was my original post just yesterday? It was, I think. Well, today I started the Push phase of ChaLean Extreme and guess what? I did ONE real pushup (on my toes)! It wasn't perfect, but I finally pushed myself back up. One is better than nothing, right?
-
But they smell nasty. Oh, fine. I'll try to love them. *grumbles*
-
I would inject them with arsenic. Quick and clean. :P
-
Yes, I agree. They SHOULD die.
-
I can't even do ONE. I can bring my chest to the floor, but I cannot push myself back up.
-
Today is my last day of Burn. I'm gonna take my time and try to go heavy. Push starts tomorrow!

I got the 4 Mile Power Walk because of you description. I did the 4 mile one today. Holy cow! That's the hardest Leslie Sansone workout in existence, I think! I've decided that the skinnier she gets, the harder her workouts. Oh... and what's up with those 2 girls in the back row who look like skeletons? They didn't look…

In my experience when I'm not losing weight it's because I'm eating too much or just too much crap. Track your food intake carefully, make sure you're burning more than you eat and you'll start seeing results.
-
A few questions... Are you burning more calories than you're eating every day (or the majority of days)? Are you on any medication?
-
You know the one that kills me the most? The "bowling" stance while rowing with one arm. My arm doesn't hurt, but my leg is on FIRE during that exercise.
-
I have several of her DVDs and I recommend her newest one - Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan.
-
They are very low impact (especially her older ones). They are set up into "miles" which are just 12-14 minutes of low impact aerobics. You'll do kicks, side steps, grapevines, knee lifts, etc. Nothing difficult.... I have to do at least 3 miles to start sweating. I think they're a good way to begin working out or on a day…
-
My favorite is the Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan. She has it set up where you can do the scheduled miles on Mon, Tues, Wed, etc. OR you can customize it to where you can choose what order you want to do the miles in. I usually do all 5 miles at a time and end with the blue mile because it's my favorite. She incorporates jumping…

Hi! New here. :) I always log it in as low impact aerobics. It's more than walking...it's aerobics.
-
OP..... Don't get scared by the "heavy lifting" thing though. That just means heavy FOR YOU. You aren't expected to lift 20 lbs dumbells over your head right off the bat. You work up to even heavier weights at the program goes on. I mostly use 3 lbs for warm up, 5 & 8 for arms/shoulders and 10 for lower body.
-
Best advice I've heard for making sure you have proper form when doing a squat is to stick your butt out. Exaggerate it ... you should feel as though you could tip backward, not forward. All the weight should be in your heels.
-
I agree with your hubby that you should do Chalean Extreme. Beginners follow Laylee (that's what I do). She uses light weights and keeps everything low impact. The Intervals workout is REALLY difficult for me so I just do my Leslie Sansone walks (usually at least 3 miles) on that day. I think even beginners will do fine on…

Today is the beginning of my last week on the Burn Phase. I'm excited about Push!
-
My chest, unfortunately. :P
-
I'm almost done with week three of CLX and lunges don't kill me anymore! Success. :)
-
How much weight do you all use for the different exercises? I go from 3 lbs (warm up weight) to 10 lbs. I have 12 lb dumbells, but I'm not quite ready for those yet.
-
One of my friends said something around 15 lbs lost, but she knew I was working out. This past week I've had several people tell me that I look good or ask me what I'm doing to lose weight. I'm at 20 lbs down right now.

I remember eating an entire bag of mini powdered sugar donuts several years ago.
