I logged and I found that by logging I stopped myself from over indulging too much. It could have been a lot worse for me, even though I did go over my calories for the day. Too many good pastries and wine selections to behave completely.

If she works out like my mother that could be it. My mom can bike for 30 minutes and not break a sweat because she's barely peddling. M-F I have one for breakfast: 1 Banana Handful of Spinach Handful of Kale 2 Carrots 1 danon light and fit yogurt (from the 4 pack) 1 cup of coconut milk (Silk is really good) sometime half an avacado if i use the other half in my sandwich for lunch ice it makes for 2 people

I could have written this post. I'm 5'5 and in my early 20s I was 115. Now that I'm just shy of 30 I weigh 129lb. I would say my weight gain was due to an increase in muscle mass and drinking alcohol on the weekends. I've been trying the Net of 1200 as well and it's not doing much. I have this problem the week before I get my period. I can't stop eating bad things like chocolate and cake like products. Does anyone have an alternative solution that would curve my cake/chocolate meltdown every month? It really messes with my progress because then I can't get back on board the moderation of bad foods.

Kettlebell kickboxing. It helps tone the body really well. The initial investment is about $80 between the dvds and kettlebell but I think it's worth it. It helped me shed some inches and worked different muscles. I also do the elliptical often, bike, yoga, and strength train.

I've been here a while and manage to gain and lose the same 2lbs. I'm determined to lose 10lbs but it's very hard and slow going to for me. I was a runner for 10 years and then 3 years ago I damaged a nerve in my right foot. It will never fully heal and I'll never be able to run again. It's very sad and I struggled in the beginning. I had to find a new sport...I took up biking. Although I really miss running sometimes, I'm glad I enjoy biking now.
