I don't doubt that its a serious question but there has to be a reason that you are not supposed to eat at your desk. And because you work in a medical office it could be sanitation/safety issues that I would not want compromised. Talk to your office manager or the doctors to find out what the real issue is and how you can…

I do not think I look sexy when I am working out. Big hot, red fed faced mess (not as bad lifting as when I do cardio.). But I do feel sexy when I get to use my strong muscles IRL. Carrying heavy boxes around the office when I "should get someone to help with that." Hiking up 6 flights of stairs with a heavy computer bag…

Your profile says you are 5'-6", 115 is a low weight for that height. If you switch to strength training now you can always go back to lose more fat after you build up some muscle.
-
This. Looking in the mirror I decided that I didn't want to get any thinner. I want to get stronger , leaner and more muscular, so that's what I am working on now. Sometimes we don't see the gradual changes in the mirror, so comparing before and after pictures is helpful to see how far you've come.

If you want pizza, eat pizza. If you don't want it, don't eat it. No one is forcing you. I would plan for eating a couple pieces of pizza and some salad (if they have it) and bring my lunch as well. If you end up not wanting pizza you have a backup lunch. If you end up eating pizza you have lunch ready for the next day.

Eat all the calories. I eat TDEE at maintenance and look at the weekly totals more than the daily ones. I am happy to end up within 200 on either side of my goal.
-
That's what nauseous means. Causing nausea; offensive.
-
Wasabi peas. I will eat them to the point of crying and keep going. I just don't buy them anymore, it's safer.
-
Agreed. I think that people who want to call someone Pigzilla are nauseous.

I avoid wearing pants when at all possible.

I have not been brave enough to post undie pics before, but squat booties are too important! I apologize for my extreme pastiness which makes some pictures difficult to read. First picture is February 2013 after loosing about 20 lbs with running as my only exercise. Since then I have been lifting with much less cardio and…

I am not concerned about the weight taken in a particular office on a particular day. I am concerned about my personal progress or maintenance. So for consistency I weigh on the same scale, at the same time, on the same day of the week, buck naked. Fluctuations are normal so I never really know exactly how much I weigh and…

Mustn't forget those lime calories, they add up fast! French toast, breakfast sausage, mimosa Cheeseburger with a fried egg (possibly bacon), fries, beer Escargot, mussels in wine, pan-fried sweetbreads, good crusty French bread, cheese, champagne Braised short ribs, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed sweet potatoes, crispy…

Burrata and prosciutto pizza is so good. But what is this deep fried pizza business? Still looks good. It sounds like you'd gone too long without some delicious pizza in your life and needed to replenish your stores. I hope you enjoyed every minute of eating them.

I live in Dallas but my family is in Houston and I have been to a couple good Malaysian restaurants there, even had some decent roti. I have heard there is good Chinese food in some of the Dallas suburbs but have yet to venture out. And I have actually seen rambutans occasionally but they always look so pitiful.
-
I spent a lot of my childhood in Malaysia. I miss roti canai, rambutans, and good Chinese food

Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoyed your day, including delicious cake and coffee :flowerforyou:

This thread is already more satisfying than the breast implant thread without pictures of fake boobs. Thank you kindly.

Yeah, sounds like there should definitely be peen at this party.

It would be rude to let her waste her money and time. If you really don't want it ask her not to buy a cake. Or she can buy a cake for others to enjoy and you can have what you want for your birthday. It is a nice gesture and you can't expect others to adhere to your extreme no-cake diet, but I'm sure there is a simple…

Fairly certain you've never had delicious crispy salmon skin. There is a good layer of fat between the skin and the flesh, so if you get the fish without skin it will have less fat and calories, I don't know how much. That's where a lot of the healthy fats are, but also environmental chemicals. I always eat the skin unless…

I really like grilled or pan fried tomatoes, cut in half if they are kind of small or 1/2-3/4" slices if larger. Green beans sauteed in a little oil with garlic or roasted in the oven. Or asparagus. I think pretty much any vegetable tossed with oil, salt, and pepper (and any other desired spices) roasted in the oven is…

A good steak doesn't really need to have much done to it. I agree with the two posters above that simple grilling or pan frying (cast iron is best if you have one) are the way to go. I usually do strip steak like this with my boyfriend, grilled or indoors depending on the weather, and a good 1 lb. steak is enough for us to…

That's a great website! I'm sure it's not perfect, but it seems pretty accurate for the brands of clothing that I own. I am in the USA and sometimes want to buy UK clothing online but am really unsure of the sizing, so this will be a great tool. Thank you!

I wouldn't count typical cleaning, gardening, or climbing six flights of stairs at my office every day as exercise because it is part of the daily activity level. But you do what you want with your diary. In the end it doesn't really matter what you decide to log, what matters is the result. If you are not seeing progress…

I prefer to cook dried beans but usually keep a couple cans around for convenience. FYI you do not HAVE to soak your beans for hours before cooking, they'll just take a little longer to cook and I think pre soaked have better texture.

OP's profile says she is a teacher/tutor. I think it makes a difference if this is happening in a classroom setting or in her or the student's home and how old the kids are. I would approach this differently with a 7-year-old than a teenager. Don't lie, don't waste food, don't stomp on a child's kindness, don't eat/drink…

There are also entries for calisthenics - light or vigorous effort. That's what I'd put it as. Take a look at the calorie counts for all these and try to be very honest about what you feel you burned.
