All this holiday eating over the past week and a half has cost me to the tune of a 2.2 pound gain. So at my final weigh in I have lost 4.5 pounds which is half of the goal. Not too bad considering. Congratulations to all who came close, met or exceeded the goal. Looking forward to the January challenge :flowerforyou:

My goal is to lose 5 pounds, burn 3500 calories a week, drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and cut back on sweets.

Find something that you love to do and you'll find it easier to stick to it. I've been doing Jazzercise and it has been my only exercise other than walking for the past 2 years and I never get tired of it. Good luck to you.

I don't weigh in weekly but I'll post my results thus far: November 24th - 173.3 December 8th - 167.6 (5.7 pounds lost) December 22nd - 166.6 (1 pound lost) Current loss - 6.7 pounds (2.3 pounds to go) Next weigh in for me will be on December 31st

I'm 5'7", 167 pounds and wear size 10-12 pants/jeans.

I have the same model and I rinse it and hang it to dry after each use since its usually drenched with sweat after I work out :smile:

Funny, I was thinking the same thing this morning. This is the first time in several years that losing weight and getting healthier will not be on my list. In 2013 I resolve to continue the way of life I have adopted and increasing my relationship with God and my family.

To the OP of this topic, this has been the most entertaining post I have read since joining MFP. I can relate to quite a few of the replies. Thanks for the laughs, now back to work for me before I have a new one of my own :laugh:

6 months for me with 3 pounds to go to reach my 50 pounds goal. I Jazzercise at least 5 times a week, drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day, and try to eat around 1400 calories a day. Wishing you success on your journey.

I'm in! I weigh myself once every 2 weeks (I just weighed in on Saturday) so I won't weigh again until 12/8. My current weight is 173.3

That's a pretty inclusive statement. I'm a woman and those pics don't impress me in the least. I'm more impressed by the guys that post pics with their clothes on, but that's just me :)
