When I was a new vegetarian, my meals tended to be very carb-centric with rice, pasta, bread and potatoes. Now I try to prepare more veggie-centric meals and am actively incorporating more protein. It's easy to fall back on the carbs because they tend to be easier to fix and require less creativity. Check out vegetarian…

I have anxiety issues which normally do not affect my life profoundly. A few days ago, though, I was having anxiety about going to work. Couldn't sleep. Couldn't sit down. Home by myself, just being useless and driving myself crazy. I considered doing some zumba but couldn't get my brain around jumping around the house. I…

I'm currently on a dannon oikos honey greek yogurt kick. I eat one almost every day. Yum. Totally worth the extra 30 calories over the yoplait lights I used to eat.

That sounds awesome. Might have to try that for Sunday!

Going to have to try this on my next day off! Yum!

Awesome! Also the dark hair is more dramatic and eye-catching.

Half of a banana sliced, and light syrup. I can't stand sugar free. It's not low cal, but nowhere near as decadent calorie-wise as it tastes.
-
That sounds so awesome!

I take a salad to work almost every night. If I add a hard boiled egg, the protein seems to keep me full longer. Lots of dressings would be fine out of the fridge for a few hours in a portion container. And bananas! Bananas are the perfect portable snack.

I was so good on MFP last year. I had lost 35 pounds or so in 4 months and was following my diet and exercise program pretty faithfully. Then I was sick for a few weeks and didn't want to work out. Then we were moving and I was too stressed...you know where this is headed. Lame excuse, lame excuse, lame excuse, leading me…

I had a RNY in April of 2002. I lost 100 pounds with my gastric bypass. I also had an obstruction and was horribly sick for 3 months. My surgeon said I was lucky I didn't die. I went into it young, healthy, and only weighing 250 #. I can't imagine the risk for people who are diabetic with heart problems, limited mobility…

What kind of lettuce are you using? It makes a huge difference. My favorites are red leaf and boston. I absolutely will not eat iceberg. Ew. And if I have my choice, I use half lettuce and half spring greens or baby spinach.
If only they had a font! It'd make it so much easy to understand and detect!
Good news: they DO! Bad news: it's wingdings.
Ha!

I wonder how it would work with chocolate angel food cake and cherries...I may try something tomorrow. Super bowl coming up, you know!

Must eat this...wish I had one now!

Yes, they are!

I also enjoy mini york patties. 45 calories and it takes away my most severe chocolate cravings. The problem is not eating the whole bag. Maybe I should get a bag and hide them in the back of the freezer...

I have very similar trouble. For instance, at work on my busy nights, I have absolutely no trouble eating only what I have planned and usually bring something home. On the nights I don't have enough to do, I think about little things I could be snacking on all night. I would prefer to not have temptations in the house, but…

Assume he's off his medication and go about your business as usual.

Holy crap! My abs will never look that good! So get over your "meh." You're awesome.

I've never seen them anywhere, but I really want to try them, too!

I am a vegetarian. My wife is not. When we are having friends over, we often make vegetarian tacos substituting morningstar crumbles for ground beef. Our friends definitely eat their share and say they don't mind the substitution.

Yeah, that would make me sad. I'd much rather think about how far I've come rather than how far I have to go. Although they're equally depressing now. Give me a few weeks.

We're totally serious this time, Adam. For real. Although I was kind of hoping you'd stay away long enough for me to get 5 pounds back on the ticker so I could have a head start.

Please, please, if you get a map, I'd love it! I'd even spring for the pedometer!
