beta blockers and exercise heart rate
I'm taking a beta blocker for my blood pressure. When I worked out Monday, I had been off my medication for a few days and my exercise heart rate was maxing at 170. hrm watch/chest band sync up
Not working! I'm so frustrated. I tried cleaning the chest electrodes and using water and lotion as conductors. I changed the batteries to make sure the sensor batteries were working. I have no idea what to do with it. Any suggestions? My hrm is a sigma sport onyx balance model.

cardio gel?
I got a heart rate monitor/calorie counter for Christmas. The directions say I need to apply either cardio gel or salvia (which I'm assuming is saliva, for people who can spell). Where can I get cardio gel and how much does it cost? Does it work better than just wetting the chest band?
