  • I think you might be on to something with the protein thing. Two nights ago I woke up drenched and what had I eaten.... A sliced steak sandwich and it was closer to bed time then I normally eat!
  • Yes, saw no results really and by the third week of taking it I wasn't able to sleep and it made me very sick to my stomach!
  • For me its knowing that a good workout actually helps relieve some of the PMS symptoms! A good sweat makes me feel less bloated, it gets the endorphins going which helps my mood, and getting up and moving takes my mind of wanting to snack!
  • My DH and I use to have a GREAT sex life before we got married. Not that we are older our days consist of going to work, going to the gym, showering, making dinner, cleaning up from dinner, and then by that time its 9:30 or so. Now I'd be ok getting in bed at that time and having a little play time, but he ALWAYS feels the…
  • I lift heavy weights. I think the whole low weight, high reps thing is a joke!
  • I usually order the smoked chicken salad w/o cheese or tortilla strips... Then I use light french dressing on it!
  • I have the same issue with self control. My husband was trying to be nice and bought me a box of Godiva chocolate as part of my Valentine's gift. About a week after having the box I still had not opened it and one night he made that a comment something like, "really cool, guess you don't like what I got you." So of course…
  • I would go with your doctor he will know best on this!! If you are currently doing excercise it would be beneficial to continuing doing some, even if it's just walking. BUT check with your doctor on this first as well! CONGRATULATIONS as well!!!
  • I'd just go with something chicken with some veggies, but make sure your chicken isn't breaded/fried, and there isn't a ceam sauce on the chicken. Then just watch your portion size and drink LOTS of water to counter act the sodium!
  • My husband and I have this talk all the time! He gets frustrated b/c I can lose in my tummy/love handle area pretty easily which is where he carries his excess weight. On the flip side though when he really watches what he eats/excercises he loses it in his legs/hips! If we could just switch that we could both be happy!
  • If you are adament on just logging the cookie part can you try looking up chocolate wafer cookies??
  • Add me!! I've gotten really involved lately with the "friends" thing on here! Its truely does help!
  • Exactly! You have to find what works for YOUR body. If you're morbidly obese, over weight, or just hanging on to a few vanity pounds no one body reacts to food and excercise the same way. I'm wanting to lose a few "vantity pounds" but I find it hard to shed anything if I eat back all my excercise calories. However, I've…
  • I know how you feel. My parents had a chocolate Lab (well actually I think he was part chesapeake bay retrieve, part lab) but he was the best dog. He passed away last summer from a type of cancer that affects the lining of the heart. He was only 6 years old, it was a really sad time for our entire family, including their…
  • Agreed!!! I rescued two "multi cultural" dogs from a shelter and they are the best dogs! From now on I will only get my dogs from shelters. Having a dog as a companion can do wonders for your stress levels!
  • Not a nutritionist but I have read it can be really harsh on your insides. Articles I've read suggest diluting it in water if you plan on drinking it on a daily basis or it does come in capsule form I believe.
  • I took it for about 3 weeks. At first I really liked it. I didn't have the jitters or problems sleeping like I have wiht some of the other pills I have tried. But the third week it started making me really sick to my stomach, so bad that I vomitted twice after working out. It also started keeping me up at night.
  • No not OK at all!!! This would not even be something I'd do in front of my husband, let alone complete strangers!!!
  • There is a middle aged woman at my gym that ALWAYS wears these grey cotton cheerleading shorts. 1. The shorts are very tight , very short, and give her a mega wedgie. 2. She is a major sweater and ends up with a very noticeable sweat stain in her butt crack every time! She works out with her husband too and he obvisouly…
  • Where do you find almond flour? I don't think I've ever seen it before...
  • Agreeed... Its not neccesarily the calorie deficit but what that calorie deficit is doing to your body.
  • No they really aren't!! My husband has tried to talk to his mom about it but the topic is not even up for discussion with her. She is the youngest of four and my mother in law doesn't want to lose her last child b/c she won't have anyone to mother. I mean seriously what 21 year old girl still has her mother do her hair and…
  • I agree with this! My sister in law is almost 21 years old and still goes EVERYWHERE with my in laws!! Its really sad actually! She has been babied her entire life and it has made her socially awkward. She doesn't have a single friend and can not make any simple decisions without asking her mom. I fear at 40 years old she…
  • I haven't read all these but oh man I could add a few!!! When my husband hangs towels over the door.... So then to close the door I have to take his towel to the bathroom and hang it up where it goes... When people pull out in front of me when there is not a single car for miles behind me When girls wear cotton leggings…
  • Don't rule out bladder infections or a UTI. I drink a 100+ ounces of water a day. That's pretty much the only thing I drink, except one cup of coffee in the morning. I went to the doctor a month ago for chronic fatigue no other symptoms at all and she told me that I had one of the worst UTIs she has ever seen. Muscle…
  • My personal feelings on this is if I happen every once in a while to be below a net 1200 calories, that is ok. Some times I am just not hungry enough to eat a certain number of calories. As long as I'm not feeling starved I don't worry too much. Also, there is some wiggle room based on the inaccuracies of your HRM…
  • Good for you!!! It won't always be easy, but just remember if you slip up don't beat yourself up about it! Forget about it and make your very next meal a healthy one! Good luck!!
  • The zone definitely takes a lot of planning. As someone said Jennifer Aniston eats this way and looks amazing... BUT she also has a personal chef to prepare her meals, a personal trainer, and smokes like a chimmney!
