I usually do a half cup (uncooked) plain oatmeal, a handful of blueberries, and a little bit of splenda around 8:30 or 9:00. Then around 10:30-11:00 I'll have a half cup of low fat cottage cheese! OH and LOTS, and LOTS of water!!!

Well, most places will do all veggies for you and ask that they don't use butter on them. But I would suggest just enjoy whatever you would like, just watch your portion sizes! It is a special occasion so indulge a little!

My husband had the problem with his Polar FT4. We replaced the batteries in both the watch and the chest strap and neither seemed to help. I bought mine at the exact same time and haven't had any problems with it.

Too much fat??? Bananas are higher in carbs and sugars than most other fruits but there is no fat in them (thats from the Chiquita website). Maybe that person was confusing fat and carbs???

I use Splenda too. Have you looked into buying some of the "sugar free" flavored syrups that the premier coffee places use? You should be able to get them at any of the big grocery stores. Any diet advice that tells you to quit eating a certain food and food group. Everything in moderation helps me keep from bingeing on those "forbidden" foods!

It could have just been a fluke. I've seen my HRM give me a strange reading every once in a while and then it jumps down to a more normal range. I would just keep an eye on it. If it starts happening frequently or you feel dizzy, light headed, or nauseous when you're getting the high of a reading then I would talk to a dr.

You should always do a little cardio as a warm up to your weight lifting. Doing a full blown cardio work out before you lift will tire your muscles and could cause you to have improper form when lifting. Improper form can cause injuries. Man I have the same problem! I sweat worse than a man. THe back of my hair is soaked when i get done, not to mention all my make up is GONE! I have seen the waterless shampoos. I wonder if using one of those and blow drying it would get it back to looking halfway normal??

Just keep in mind that what yuo do today isn't neccesarily going to have an affect on the scale tomorrow. There is usually a few days lag time in there! Just stay motivated and keep moving!!!

So completely just curious but have you tried not doing ESE and working out say 5-6 times a week? Like i said just purely wondering if you had tried that before and it didn't work for you and that is why you tried ESE. I seem to be having a problem getting into the routine of ESE.

I'd invest in a good heart rate monitor. Polar is a good brand, I have the FT4. Spend a little extra money to get one with a chest strap.
