For me personally, there's too much risk. This drug is derived from amphetamines, which means there is a high risk for dependance and bad side effects (heart problems, anxiety, agitation).

Hashimoto's here. Also, RA "markers" in my blood tests. I can't see where you can search in the groups section and I can't find this group. Can someone post a link to it?

Have you had your hormones tested for PCOS? The symptoms of it closely mimic thyroid disease.

Yes, that's a good reminder! The chart is a good starting point but you'll never be able to guess at how your body will react to a drug. Especially when it comes to mood. For some people, depression can cause lack of appetite and so when they start feeling better on the meds, they may start eating more. As always, keeping…

There are a few meds that can cause weight gain but there's also options that do not cause weight gain. When I was doing research on the topic, I found this chart. Might be interesting if you're taking one of the meds that is known for weight gain to see what would happen if you switched.

I'd like to know more about the programs you completed. I googled and it looks like they're all Beach Body programs. What do you think of them? Are they worth the money? It's nice to hear from someone that tried them without endorsing them.

I try to stick to 1200 calories as well. I open my diary to friends, so maybe you could get some ideas from my diary. I've found that keeping my breakfast VERY slim (200 calories or less) makes it seem like the calories don't run out so fast over the course of the day.

Me me me! I'm looking for some friends so that I can get some support online! Feel free to add me. I track regularly and open up my food diary to friends.

Ditto. I start to feel tired again, that's the first sign. Last time, I just called my doc and she upped my dosage right then and there.

I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto's in October and my doc told me it can take 6 weeks before you start feeling better. I noticed small improvements after about 2 weeks then even more improvments after that. I'm currently on 100mcg and my 6 week blood test was back down to 1.45 TSH, whereas upon diagnosis is was all the…

I used to eat this every day for breakfast. Instead of honey, I would add a few drops of "Vanilla Creme" flavored liquid Stevia extract to cut calories. Very, very delicious! Just be careful on how much PB and chocolate chips you add...I started to get a little frivilous with those and had to cut myself off!!
