I hate the treadmill. Find workouts you enjoy doing or you find challenging!

I was down 15-20 pounds before I starting going down in sizes. It'll happen :) I try to stick to the same brand of jeans. I can now wear a 9 in one style, but a different style 9 won't fit - in the same brand!

After 7 months of doing cardio exercises 3-4 times a week, my HR *still* gets up in the 190's during a good cardio workout (usually 193-195). My first 5k, it got up to 207 and my second 5k, it got up to 203. I have asthma though, which probably has something to do with it.

MFP works if you work it. Check out the roadmap :)

Tonight: 1,200 calorie dinner. I don't eat that much for dinner all the time though, but dinner is usually my largest meal.

I have 13-18 pounds left, depending on what I want my goal weight to be. 5'2" CW: 143 GW: 130 - 125

Bump!!

Would love to have this bod. Katee Sackhoff as Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica.

- Pictures with the hubby. We'll be able to take good ones cause I'll be skinny! - Boudoir session for me. - New clothes! - Possibly a bikini. I've never worn a bikini before, so I would flip if I looked good enough to wear one!

I just recently hired a trainer to help me establish a good weight training routine cause I'm totally lost when it comes to lifting. Her rate is really good though ($15 a session). I have a friend that's a trainer too and she charges $45 a session! I wouldn't be able to afford that. I would stick to group classes to start…

I eat back mine. Nom nom nom... if I'm not hungry, I don't (that's not very often!), but 9 times out of 10, I dip into my exercise calories.
-
About a week before my weigh in day I really watch my sodium intake so I don't have water weight to think about. I only weigh in once a month.
-
See how it goes and how you feel. I was eating at 1,600 when I first started and after about 5 months, it wasn't enough. I was still hungry so I listened to my body and upped my calories. I'm still losing and I feel so much better. Are you eating back exercise calories too? That also makes a difference.

Lifting weights (has given me best results) and dance (ballet, modern, zumba)

I'm 5'2" as well and eat 1,755 a day. Feel free to add me! I like having some fellow high calorie friends!
-
I'm 5'2", 143 pounds and eat just under 1,800 calories a day without exercise. I work a part time job that has me on my feet and moving a lot though. Find the user named "heybales" there's a spreadsheet on his profile that I use to crunch all my numbers. It seems to be more accurate than In Place of a Roadmap for me.

I don't think I could ever give up my cream and sugar....

Amazing!

Meal planning!! My work schedule is all over the place and it's so easy to stop by the drive thru when I get of at 11 at night. I meal plan instead and cook at home. If I know what I'm going to be eating, I don't resort to fast food.

Love spin class! Give it a try and go at your own pace :)

This is the one for me. I had no idea that my face looked like that! I've never posted pictures on the boards so here goes... This is me on New Years Eve...

Welcome! Don't be afraid! If you have to, set smaller goals for yourself. My original goal weight was 150 cause I didn't want to aim too low or think that I could never be that weight again. Some people like seeing the big picture, but I had to break it down.
-
You look awesome! Congrats on your loss so far! Maybe you're not eating enough? I'm 5'2" 149lb and losing on 1,700 as my net goal. P.S. Don't pay attention to the BMI charts, especially if you're muscular!

I've found that I can modify some of my favorite recipes to be more calorie friendly. Some of my favorite foods (mainly pizza and pasta) I still have, but not as often as I used to. The good thing is you like to cook so you know exactly what's going into your food. I like finding creative ways to make a recipe healthier.…

I took baby steps because I don't really know what I want my goal weight to be. So I started with 150, then 140, but thought I could make it to 130, so 130 it is. When I get there I'll reevaluate...
-
Yeah... I'd call management and move up the chain from there. What a d-bag!
-
I gained my first week. If I would have given up then, I'd be in the same miserable spot I was in 6 months ago. Don't give up! Put away the scale if you have to! Make sure you take measurements too.
-
I have been cold a lot here lately and I never stopped to think that losing weight could be the cause!
-
I usually weigh and measure once a week. Sometimes I take month breaks from the scale if I'm obsessing too much.

^^ This for me too.
