LOL I love this and its true. No one ever shot me for walking in a race.

JUST GO FOR IT! No one will care if you end up walking part of it. Just do it and finish. That way you will have a time to beet when you do yout 2nd 5K. I walked part of my first 5K. Every race I do that is a new longer distance my goal is to just finish and get a time to beat. Good luck!

Yoga has been a huge help to me in flexibility and stretching after my running. It takes a long time but little by little it gets better. My trainer always says the day you stop stretching is the day you start losing flexibility.

I do it. I went shopping and found a dress I liked in my size but I ended up getting it a size smaller. I also have jeans in a smaller size. I keep them on the back of my bedroom door so I see them every day. I know I am going to lose the weight and will need something to wear.

My trainer and nutritionist is a realist. She has people switch to sugar free options and then cut them out if you want. It worked well for me.

I agree with a lot that was said above. It depends on the trainer. I would watch them around the gym see what style you like. Also look for someone who is keeping a close eye on the person while they are working out and correcting their form. I have seen trainer who are looking around the gym and not paying attention to…

Have you look into a plant base diet. You can reverse most of the illnesses you are battling (High Blood Pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, Cholesterol) and it will help with the others. Flax seed, Chia Seed or Hemp seed are all very healthy seeds, great source of omg-3 and easy to add to yogurt, oatmeal cereal or shakes.
