I've done that on my motorcycle, can't imagine it on a bicycle! One of the most beautiful places I've ever been!

Adding 11.82 miles for Thursday group ride on some new greenway trails. They are putting in a coffee shop that will only be accessible by bicycle!
-
Wednesday group ride- 10.22 miles

I did an open run this morning with a group of other runners. We ran 3.43 miles to honor the 343 firefighters who gave their lives to save so many others on 9/11/01. I didn't run the whole distance, but am happy with my pace. The run was good, despite 90% humidity and temperatures near 80 at 5:30 this morning.

Adding 16.35 miles for Tuesday group ride and 3.96 for a run/walk this morning. The actual run part of this morning's run was 3.43 miles in honor of the 343 firefighters who gave their lives to save so many others on 9/11/01.

I took a short break from running to complete a 60 mile bike ride (Saturday). This morning I got out and finished W9D1. I have the 5k next Saturday.
-
I ride my bicycle and/ or walk on most "rest" days.
-
Welcome to the group! My grandson spent several hours during my last visit with him trying to figure out how old I really am. (My answer is always 29.) I'm not Canadian, but I think we have several here who are. I am sarcastic!
-
I can attest to that! So hot here in NW Arkansas!
-
Saturday was our Fall Square to Square bike ride. I always ride square to square and back, so adding 60.93 miles for that. Got up this morning and ran, adding 3.52 miles for that. I am ready for it to not be so hot, although I'm not ready for shorter days.

Adding 13.04 miles for Wednesday group ride

Baby steps, Sara!

After a week off from running and cycling, I completed W8D2 this morning. As expected, it was miserable, but I did it. Only stopped once about half way through to stretch the calves.

Adding 15.78 miles for Tuesday group ride and 3.45 miles for Wednesday morning run.
-
In for 200 this month!
-
I have the same issue with my runs. I assume it has to do with which apps I have linked to MFP, but I haven't had time to research it.
-
Awesome! Just keep adding to the time you run. You might also consider throwing in some speedwork or hill repeats to help increase your pace.
-
Adding 13.02 for Wednesday group ride. That puts me at goal. Good thing, because I likely won't have any more measurable movement this month. I'm traveling to Texas for my grandson's 3rd birthday party!
-
Adding 17.55 miles for Tuesday group ride.

I skipped W7D3 and went right on to W8D1 this morning. I will only get 2 runs in this week and 2 next week due to travel and I want to be ready for the 5k on September 14. Today's run was great! Managed a 12:14 pace and didn't stop at all during the 2.75 miles!

Adding 3.52 miles for Couch to 5k, week 8, day 1
-
Couch to 5k, week 7, day 2 on Friday - 3.3 miles. Saturday morning, I looked outside and saw rain, so I hibernated for the weekend. :D
-
I did W7D2 on Friday. It was slower than the Wednesday run, but I'm guessing that was due to hills. It felt good and I didn't stop. Hoping to get day 3 in after work today, but the heat is back. We'll see.
-
Adding 11.11 miles for Thursday group ride that ended up being solo. (I'm the slow one in the group!)
-
I made it out last night after a storm rolled through and cooled things off a bit- w7d1- 2.5 miles straight without stopping in just under 32 minutes!
-
Couch to 5k yesterday- adding 3.18 miles
-
I am also signed up for a 5k on September 14th. I am just starting Week 7 of C25k, so currently running 2.5 miles. I'm also in the south and this heat is ridiculous! The 5k I'm doing is called, "The Worst 5k Ever". I figure it will be my worst 5k time ever, so it is appropriate!
-
I did not run this morning. The relative humidity was 84% and it was already almost 80 at 6 AM. The heat is supposed to break tonight. I will aim for tomorrow morning.

They have those at Hurts Donuts and I have had one before. YUMMY! The last time I rode my bike to Hurts, I opted for a Snickers Donut. Worth the 50 mile ride to get one!
