I prefer early morning running, but that doesn't happen often. I can't run within an hour or two of eating either. The schools around here won't let you run on their tracks during school hours. There is a local track that used to belong to a school, but is now considered open to the public for running anytime and isn't…

I ran this morning, w4d2. Feeling pretty good about my results! Week 4, day 2

Same results, I think. I've used MapMyRide in the past to also track runs.

I got it done last night. It was hot and steamy, and it was dark by the time I finished, but I did it!
-
I headed out to my local park to run this morning and was 4 minutes into the warm-up when a thunderstorm hit. I will run in the rain, but not when there is lightning. I will try again after work. I'm on week 4- run 1/4 mile, walk 1/8, run 1/2, walk 1/4, repeat.

I rode from home to town (Bentonville), rode 20 miles with a friend, hung out at the farmer's market for a couple of hours (in the Tour deCure tent), then rode back home on Saturday. Adding 42.4 miles, which puts me at goal!
-
Ditto! Some day I'll get my grandkids involved.

If you did day 2, you are ready for day 3! Just take it slow and you can make the 20 minutes!

Once you buy the first pair, you can research to find shoes that have the same characteristics and buy cheaper online.

Adding 18.39 miles for Taco Tuesday ride!
-
I ran yesterday, w3d1. It was okay, but I could tell it had been a week since I had run.
-
Try it for a few weeks and see how it goes. You'll be able to tell pretty quickly if your body can handle that. The plan allows a day in between runs so your body can recover and rest, without injury.
-
I got out after work and ran, Couch to 5k, week 3 day 1. Adding 2.13 miles. Back is all good now!
-
Just got back from a week long visit with my family in Texas, including a trip to Six Flags! Adding 16.54 for a group ride and 2.28 for a run. Sprained my back, so was off for a few days, but hope to get back at it today!
-
I did run on Saturday the 13th. Sprained my back on Sunday the 14th. Going to try to run today, as I'm feeling better.
-
I also completed W2D2 yesterday. I am traveling tomorrow, so may not get to run until Saturday.

Adding 2.09 miles for Couch to 5k yesterday
-
Adding 13.06 miles for Tuesday group ride. We cut it short and went for a beer. It is so muggy hot here right now!
-
I also did W2D1 yesterday. We had a storm roll through late afternoon and I went out just afterwards, so it was a little cooler than on Friday!
-
Completed Couch to 5k, week 2, day 1 yesterday- 2.06 miles total

I'm taking the two oldest grandkids to Six Flags over Texas next week. Can't wait!
-
Well done, @Perla4686 ! I completed w1d3 on Friday afternoon. It is so hot here now, but I'm determined. We'll see how my determination holds when I am in Southeast Texas next week with even hotter temps and more humidity!
