I disagree with both posters before. I modfied recently to try to take in 100-130 grams of protein a day and I notice a HUGE difference. I have been limiting my starchy carbs as well, but replenishing enough from workouts. I have more energy in my workouts, I am losing faster, and I look more toned and less puffy overall.…

I have an intolerance as well and I've noticed that mozzarella doesn't really bother me. You should be careful with yogurts and coffee creamer. Coffeemate makes lactose free creamers.

Insanity is used as a cardio element in hybrid workouts with other Beachbody programs like P90x and TurbeFire, etc. I think that you could definitely do it as an occasional workout. It's hard to tell bc I dont know what intensity you did but I am 155 and 5'7" and a 40 min session burned around 350-450 for me depending on the workout. I'd say you're safe to assume 350. Congrats on starting. It's a great program and will really re-shape you!

It's a great program. Listen to your body though. You don't have to do every stretch, or every rep. You don't have to jump on every circuit.
