There are weight lifting braces you can find on the internet. I would suggest to supplement with fish oils and CLAs which are fatty acids which have shown to help with inflammation and help with join health.

Try something light like rice cakes or a banana. Try to stay away from high fiber foods which tends to fill people up.

Honestly it seems you have a problem with your consistency in you're training. Going hard for 2 -3 weeks isn't going to cut it. Instead try mixing up your training with some solid weight lifting with moderate cardio. Do what it takes to achieve what you want. "Blood sweat and years"
