You have worked so hard and your results are nothing less than amazing! I am inspired!

I am a mom of one as well. 40 years old. Started running last year-one of the hardest things I EVER did. I would love to support you and would the support too. I will send you a friend request.

And, it is amazing what a weight loss of even 5 lbs makes for running. Once I hit the 5lb mark it actually was physically easier to run and has been ever since.

You can do this. I know you can. I had about 50lbs to lose and have lost 40 so far since I started learning to run. I was never a runner. Ever. I wanted to run but I just couldn't. I decided I was going to do it for a few reasons. It is cheap-no gym membership required. It is convenient-it can be done pretty much anywhere.…

Okay, dumb question, I know. On the spreadsheet, is the goal the number of miles for the month and then each day we log how many we did?

Love this idea. I'm in.

I hit a weight loss plateau last fall and am stuck here. But I also haven't been working as hard as I had been. My goal is to just recommit to doing exercise most days of the week, ideally running, and then adding in some additional stuff like planks, etc. I would like to do 4 5ks this year.

You look amazing!

Love that. So inspiring! You are inspiring! I couldn't have written that letter better myself. :)

I absolutely see a difference. Back, hips, abdomen. Keep up the good work girl!

Oh wait, one more, probably the biggest. How could I forget? After the birth of my daughter, my now ex husband said he wasn't attracted to me because I was looking like a whale.

When I was 10 years old, two different friends of my mom and dad (divorced), commented in front of me that I had "gained quite a bit of weight". I remember it like it was yesterday. And I had gained weight, it was a rough time. Weight became a major issue for me throughout high school and college. When I went back to…

Agreed. I take my measurements too and that helps, especially if the scaled hasn't moved in awhile.

I am weighing myself daily too; it is the only way I can stay accountable. I know it isn't for everyone but I know myself and my patterns. In the past I have tried weighing weekly but I have too many opportunities to cheat and tell myself, "well, I am not weighing for another 3-4 days, etc". I have noticed though that if…

I am 5'2" and I started at 194 and am currently at 169. Weight has been a struggle for me for many years, lots of yo-yoing up and down. MFP has been a great tool for me. There are days when I don't log my food or exercise but I still log my weight and measurements which helps me stay on track. We are in this together!!!

I am going to try that-thanks for sharing!

I have been wondering the same thing for myself too, partcularly when I first started. Then I seemed to have a lull/plateau and now I am back on track yet once again seeming obsessed. I can't decide if it is good or bad. Good being on track but the obsession is not good. There has to be a happy medium. I haven't found it…

You look absolutely beautiful! I love the polka dot dress too!

You look fantastic!!!

That was my "revelation" also. Seeing a picture of myself and seriously not recognizing who was in the picture. Very scary moment in my life and also very sad.

Mine was when I recently saw a picture of me at Christmas several years ago-I was the same size as I am now and I honestly didn't even recongize myself. The way I saw myself and what I really looked like were two completely different things. It was mortifying.

Can't wait to try those-sounds delicious!!

Although I am not happy with my weight, which is why I am here, I do love my curves and hour glass shape. I would just like it in a smaller size. :)
