@Scott26655 Looks like there is one here where I live. Its a drive, but you could make a weekend trip and get one. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/proform-carbon-t10-treadmill#repChildCatid=7792069 Of course, I'd call the store first. They are do-do's here. Maybe sherman-denison, gainsville area even. I suppose if you…

In the meantime, you could consider a hydration pack full of ice water to counter the heat a bit. I noticed a big difference with it, back in the day. The gyms are open here, maybe a membership or daily pass to one? This summer really has been horrible with the heat and humidity. It's just gross outside.

@T1DCarnivoreRunner Isn't it the deer tick (teeny tiny seed tick), that also transmits Lyme ? @rheddmobile I like the telemed idea, definitely stay safe, we do not want you sick or dead. If you have a fever, they may insist on telemed, huh?

@bearly63 I did not know any of that ! ohhhh I will have to investigate the shows, operas and museums. The Y is pool is 84-86F. I mentioned to DD that I wanted to go and she said she's do with me, after I get the okay from my doc. Fine. This week auntie flo is hanging around anyway. DH agreed I can 10$ a day all I want and…

LOL!

@rheddmobile cutest little raccoon pose ever. Ugh, sorry another week before the doc. Any chance an urgent clinic can get you started on a broad spectrum antibiotic? I had a coworker with Lyme. It took him almost a year to get diagnosed and had to go to Missouri from Oklahoma to get it. Horrible. Be well.

This is just all sorts of messed up. Meal plan together, shop together and cook together. Otherwise, adults can fend for themselves. This is just basic cohabitation skills. This reeks of a control issue. Perhaps counseling would be more use of your efforts right now.

OMG. Me too. You are the first person I've come across with a soy allergy. 🙋 It's dang frustrating.

eh, I don't want to take the antidepressants. I want to feel better, but then feel guilty for feeling better. I'm neurotic, never miss a planned med/vitamin/pain med dose etc... So I ride it out til I am miserable then take a low dose. I could allow myself to take it for 2-3 months and wean off anticipating school will be…

@janejellyroll I am sorry to hear about your uncle. You'd (I'd) think, that loss would be easier to accept; we are all going to leave this place, we are all going to lose each other. Yet, it stings and rips the soul deeply no matter the intellectual acceptance. Embrace the loss, I think that's all we can do.

@Avidkeo I think an exercise bike is smart. Any kind of cycling helps, I think. I took about a year off of running when I first had back/ hip /nerve pain and biked exclusively; I noticed when I returned to a bit of running my cardiovascular system was in better shape. Food I are depression ice cream yesterday. My hip…

@shanaber How are you getting along? @quilteryoyo The mower love bites healing? Food Did good yesterday. We had the last of the korma with nann rather than rice, and cauliflower mac and cheese. Scale is linear. Today? We have some frozen organic pot pies, lots of calories little food. Unless DH brings something home- he…

Welcome back! A lot of folks were asking about you, LoneWolf, and uh... our lovable divorce atty!

Ohhh got my new vegetarian cookbook, Plenty by Yotam Ottolenghi. I am really pleased so far having just found it browsing Amazon. Lots of recipes and out of the 10 or so I thumbed thorough only one is something I can eat, tofu. I will have to get creative with cheeses that aren't available and I noticed one calling for…

I need to journal it. I have a baby book of his I can add too. I just can't bring myself to do it yet. I'll read the old entries and be miserable. So maybe I should start a new one. This would be a good exercise to do sitting out at the cemetery. I can ugly cry and wail all alone instead of silently crying under the covers…

I took an antidepressant today. I'm doing worse each day rather than better. Of course, I've been somewhat distracted with plans and getting word that the monument we chose is in stock and can be set in 2 weeks, is wonderful but it's also a reminder of the finality. I also have to let go of the urn. I don't want to. I am…

@ddmom0811 veggie korma is my favorite too! Mmmmm! I ordered a vegetarian cookbook and hope to try to cook more. Er any at all. My diet is horrible. I do have an Indian food cookbook too. I should revisit these books I have. Runners weight, runners world, athletes plate... lol! Oh well one more book won’t hurt. Tomorrow’s…

I would like to find a good vegan/vegetarian cookbook, but can't have soy, chickpeas, seeds or peanuts. A lot of the recipes rely heavily on these restricted foods. Sorry OP, I'm not trying to hijack your thread. If you can find a cookbook that fits your plan, maybe that will allow you to play with the seasoning and your…

Ouch @quilteryoyo ! The extent of the bruising shows just how hard that impact was! I bet you may be too sore to run. You ever find out what it was? I agree with The Carnivore, check it for something imbedded. Maybe you can run/walk tomorrow. I can’t personally imagine a reason not to get out, other than the discomfort.…

All of our books are new editions. You can rent the new books but will still have to purchase an access code for each book. Thus, there is no savings. Even if there happened to be an older edition in use, you still have to buy the access code. They got us. I rented my biochem book, and a statistics book- classes that…

@bearly63 I have a road bike on a trainer (not a smart one, just old fashioned go-'round and 'round cyclops. DH okay'd a smart trainer, but honestly I need to be motivated on my own and not try to compete with normies). And I have a trail bike for when I can get back out into the real world. I have not gotten on it the…

How am I suppose to social distance, when I am just getting bigger! LOL!

I talked to DH about if such an app exists. He said not that he is aware of. It would have to be something contracted with a providers service. @RunsOnEspresso I haven't heard about the 311. I saw so many of Alex's old texts to friends that he needed company or someone to talk too, or was having a bad time.... If he had…

Covid I came across something from Osmosis about the long term effects of covid in kids. I am trying to distance myself from it all as to not propagate early erroneous information. I do trust the osmosis outlet. Hospitals were or are seeing an increase in case of Kawasaki disease in these kids. I think we should do what we…

Here is one side of the monument design. I noticed the misspelling and let him know... The other side will have name and dates also a nice photo and the tattoo design on it. So DD can feel DS is also sort of tattooed. I have a headache. Probably from laying around. The norco is wearing off quickly and vacuuming yesterday…
