Hi there! I am with you. I have 5 to go and man it is a slow road. I am completely committed no matter if it takes weeks or months. I've got the time. My main challenge is fighting my weekly food party during which my brain tricks me into eating away my deficit and slowing things down considerably. I am motivated by…

I need to get back to Aldi's! This all looks delicious.

Lentils rule. They are so cheap and filling! I measure out 200g of dry and cook them up in water. Then I remeasure the total amount and divide it by 4 for 4 servings. Then that's 4 meals worth and it seems like a lot! On salads and for diners with veggies I am never hungry afterwards.

Hi! I have three kids and work full time. Add me!

Hi! Add me too!

I noticed you said that you go crazy when you get home. How about packing a high protein and high volume/fiber snack for the ride home? A large amount of water, a huge chunk of cabbage or celery and a cheese stick may fill you up and hydrate you so the binge attack isn't activated.

I am like this too. Luckily my town has a great bike path with nothing but runners and people exercising. It's well lit and well travelled. I'm too scared to run on sidewalks and don't like people to see me. I'd rather do a video than run alone in a city. That's ok cause if I dread the exercise I procrastinate. I just do…

Someone asked me what I do for weight loss. Also people I haven't seen in a while comment that I lost weight.

Hiit fitness blender! 17 mins and super effective. If I get 17 mins without kids stopping me it's a miracle, but after a while they accept that it's fast and will be over soon.

The not eating during the day is a good place to start. That alone can fire up the appetite monster like never before.

Dried beans or chickpeas, plenty of water, overnight on high. They can be used in soup, a recipe, dips, anything! For feeding a family beans are a weekly staple at our house:)

Having more energy to haul my kids around. Replacing child bearing years outfits one by one with clothes I enjoy wearing. Not having pain after walking all day for double shifts at work.

You are amazing! Fantastic work! Thanks for posting! Best wishes to you and your family!!!!

Someone told me that weight loss is slow and boring. So each time I'm bored and impatient, I just say to myself "excellent! I'm doing weight loss!" No joke tho... The struggle is real. Give it a few months and it gets a touch easier. Hang in there....

You inspire me. Thank you for sharing your story. You are a strong, smart and beautiful person!

E0s are very potent and powerful medicine. Use carrier oils cause a little goes a long way. Many modern drugs come from plants. Be careful and research your oils. My favorite is lavender. A drop on the soles of your feet with olive oil makes stress disappear. Just do a patch test to make sure you don't have An allergic…

Don't get too hungry... Or eat so much sugar that you have a sugar crash and then lose control with eating. Our bodies just take over at a certain point. I'm trying to retrain myself to "stress clean" my house. I run about 50/50 but it's gotten better over six months. Habits die hard just keeeeeeep trying!
-
Just keep trying and it will pay off. Each time you log stuff is a change in your habits.

Calorie limit. Practice "stopping" when the meal is over. Run an hour very slowly. 17 min hiit. This is a day of big goals for me. But I'll need them! Off to run an hour. Check back soon!

Working out while tired is really difficult. Maybe give yourself a few days off and if you can and clear your schedule for sleep. Then just get out there and go for it. You're almost there! You are going to be amazing!

A salad that you made before your shift so it's ready to grab and eat. A serving of veggies that were already roasted, just heat them up and add in 50 g of pre cooked chicken breast. Some celery or other raw vegetables and a big water bottle on the ride home take me out of food crisis mode. I like the idea of peanut…

Are you eating enough protein and fat? I just started pouring olive oil on chicken breast and eating that. It holds my appetite well. Best wishes and don't give up no matter what!

So happy for you! That's wonderful!

The best I've found is oatmeal in a jar. It is very inexpensive and keeps me full for hours. I make several weighed servings, pour equally into jars and place in fridge. Each day I grab one. I drink water (lots) before and after and I am able to forget about food and keep working a long time for pennies. My husband laughs…

Sorry if this was mentioned: pre log your food but figure in some things you are looking forward to. That way it's still special and fun!
