  • Good health - yes, fitness - I doubt. we have been brought up amidst the theory of 'Thoppai' seen as a symbol of prosperity and being fat indicates a 'nalla manasu. With idli, masala dosa and white rice as staple, unless you are a pro or self initiator, fitness is not seen as every tamilan priority. That's my view.

  • Chet, I have been reading a lot of articles about breaking the plateau. Turns out it is part of the weight loss process. Keeping my motivation inspite of not seeing results is the biggest challenge. Focusing on weights (with dumbbells at home. No gym), very slow but sure progress.And HIIT as well. Not easy :(

  • Advi, see to it that you get proper sleep of atleast 8hours and have your dinner 2hours before going to bed. This has helped me for good results. All the best.
