I have never heard of those! I love Dr. Pepper but we don't even have the Cherry Doc. Pep up here in the Maritimes  It's my favorite flav! It looks like the humidity may break by Monday...but not after we get hit by Hurricane Bill!

When I was a cadet (ok, so it was a Canadian thing), we learned how to catch squirrels and chipmunks by laying root snares along a leaning branch to a tree....now, me being a city girl and loving high-heeled shoes...it seems likely that I will ever be put in that dire situation...however...when you need it most, lol.... I…

Being a fellow Canadian, I spent my first time in Boston alone on a business trip and went to go the Boston Museum of Art. It was beautiful, well rounded and will be of interest for any member of the family...weather they love ancient history, ancient Japanese swords, or awesome mummies! I spent a large cab fair but an…

Well, I look forward to it!! :flowerforyou: I need a prime time show to keep my interest that isn't my usual nerdy fair, lol :)

Haha...I am in the military...running well is sort of a prerequisite. Actually, I found the most dreaded part of basic training was running at 5 am most mornings for almost 8 kms or more...weight, I can handle, the discipline I can take but running...oh man...it makes me sweat because I'm not shaped like those 6 foot 5'…

I eat a lot just to eat....its been better, though, since I've started to eat raw green beans...to give that cool and delicious crunch! Also, I found that Goldfish crackers were a good treat because you can eat quite a few and still stay within the 'snack' range. I hope that helps!

Its been incredibly hot here in Atlantic Canada too....can you imagine it was almost 103 F with humidity here! Our office's A/C isn't functioning and I'm wearing a mandatory uniform that covers way too much. I certainly had to take a few breaks, drink a lot of water and really concentrate on what I had to eat and exercise…

If it helps, pack a few items in your fridge that are easy to take with you in a lunch bag or purse....granola bars, string beans, carrot sticks, crackers, yogurt, almonds. I usually bring a lunch bag with me to work with a few healthy snacks so that I can think about eating throughout the day with some healthy options.…

I just started reading the second novel as well. Ohhh...that vampire Bill!

This will be the first season I start watching this show and I'm stoked! She may be the underdog but I'm going for Kelly O. She'll be the biggest change, I think.

This is one of my favorite clean ones...will make you feel inspired: Hollywood style!

Oh, that was amazing! Du-duh! Some days I feel like that...must be the heat outside right now! Thanks for the awesome post! I must find one here in my slew of favorites...

I'm just turning 24 this week who would love to have a support network. It is hard to keep up with this routine and counting!

I am in a profession where running is part of the job and I have asthma. Although I find it difficult most days, I know that one way to control asthma is to be able to control your breathing, not just through medication. I recommend taking up yoga as part of your regular routine. It helps you to really pay attention to…

You know...I had the meat and potatoes diet my whole life but one day, a friend of mine told me to try sushi. Now I can't get enough! I know a lot of people hate fish (I grew up on the coast so it makes me a bit partial but we don't eat it raw). I must say that tuna and salmon sushi has a beautiful taste and texture and I…

Hi Amanda, It's my first time as well. Well, first day, actually. Are you excited for the days to come? I know it will be hard to try and keep on track. Good luck! Cheers, Stephanie
