I always bring a bag of my own fat free popcorn and portion it out to what I can have for that day. That way you still get the enjoyment of popcorn at the movies, but its not so bad for you.

A few fitness instructors I know have told me that you should work out early in the morning on an empty stomach and you will end up burning more. I wouldn't suggest that for day/ evening work outs- but for early morning I've been told thats the way to go.

another idea If you are looking to get in more protein without eating red meat, 0% greek yogurt is a great way... its great mixed with fresh fruit or a little honey to cut the strong taste.
