  • You look great! You can really see a difference (well...all over) but really in your shoulders/collar bones!
  • Thanks for pointing out that weight is not everything. I can see my body changing, which helps calms the frustration of the scale not moving, and your pictures prove it! :drinker: Cheers!
  • I was on Depo and then had an IUD (Mirena) which are similar hormones. Over 4+ years I gained 70 ish lbs and mirena made me crazy. I have since had it removed and have gone to Lo-Ogestrel 28 which is a low hormone pill. I love it. I have lost 30 ish (easier to lose and have more energy than I did when on high dose…
  • 1 C Kale 1 C Frozen Pinapple 1/2 C frozen Rhubarb 1TB Chia Seeds Water Very bright and vivid flavors and wakes you right up.
  • I really don't agree with it. Any "diet" that tells me I shouldn't eat certain fruits and vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains is insane to me. Do I believe that each body can have individual sensitivities? Yes...but to cut out certain things altogether is ridiculous and not maintainable for me. I am blood type A which…
  • I work a glass or two of wine or a few brewskis in whenever I feel like it. If you consider this a "diet" and feel deprived, I doubt that you will want to continue this lifestyle change for the long run. There is no reason to be miserable on your path to a healthier lifestyle.
  • I was a heavy smoker for 10+ years. HAPPILY quit cold turkey after reading Alan Carr's EasyWay to Stop Smoking. Read it. I am the happiest ex-smoker you will ever meet!!!! I LOVE being a non-smoker!!!! I feel so much better about myself and know that I will never smoke again. Best $8 I ever spent.
  • You can get their salad with no extra cheese/croutons and they have fat free dressing that tastes the same as the regular. Fill up on SALAD, limit your breadsticks (last time I went I ate ONE breadstick and enjoyed every bite...and that was just enough to satisfy)...all of their entrees are pretty heavy on the calories. I…
  • Smoking is not a habit. It is a physical and social addiction. To anyone that has quit or is considering quitting I recommend Alan Carr's book- EasyWay to Quit Smoking. I am the happiest ex-smoker you will ever meet now that I have been freed from nicotine and I KNOW that I will never smoke again. It breaks your…
  • Quit smoking two weeks ago- been exercising everyday since. I have come to the conclusion that will never smoke again because I am starting to see myself as an athlete that I want to become, and athletes don't smoke!
  • FYI, The same thing happened to me. I kept getting the alert that I was eating too few of calories because I wasn't eating back my exercise calories. It sounds like I have a similiar diet to you as well and when I added back about 75% of my "exercise" calories, I gained a lot (4lbs) the following week. Like everything…
  • I have a NutriBullet food extractor. Instead of squeezing the juice out of your fruits and veggies and leaving behind all the good fibers, vitamins, etc...it just emulsifies all of it. Fantastic. I love it. Start everyday with a fruit and veggie smoothie and I feel great. I had a weird revelation the other morning...I woke…
