  • I weigh in on MFP officially every Sunday morning, so I'll post weekly updates then. April 15- 184.7 April 22- 180.1 *I think since this was a week where I was *really* focused on getting back on track, I lost more than I ever have in a week. A bowl of ramen at a restaurant on the 22nd already had this morning's weigh-in…
  • I'm in my 30s, but I would love to join. My goal is -30 pounds by the end of the year, and I would like to jumpstart that with 15 pounds before summer :-D April 15- 184.7 lbs June 21 goal- Under 170... wow!
  • Sounds great :) The rainy season is about to hit here in Korea (seriously like the next 15 days all look like rain lol), so I'll be doing a lot of indoor walking videos. Today was Leslie Sansone 3 Miracle Miles~
  • Monday was my first day this week, and today is my 2nd day for the week :) So far so good!
  • Great idea! I tried 5:2 for a little while in the past, and I'm looking forward to trying it again starting this week. Tomorrow (Monday) will be my first fast day.
  • Thank you for thinking of me!
  • Hi :) Just saw your post keturaheaton. Hope your first couple days have gone well! I've been doing a lot better with the nighttime eating thing lately, now that my body is getting used to the work schedule. Making sure I eat a filling enough dinner helps hehe. Just a few weeks ago, I'd find myself snacking if I had a short…
  • Hope you Monday starters have an awesome day! My first two days have been great. Felt so good to get back into eating well, and last night I actually liked the feeling of hunger I had because it meant I wasn't eating too much! Today begins the real challenge. I work crazy hours (afternoon/evening piano lessons + ~10-12…

  • Hi everyone! I am starting a new round on Saturday. It's been a while since I've followed the program (like almost a year,) but after 2 weeks of eating whatever I wanted on vacation and not getting my daily workouts in, I feel like I've completely fallen off the wagon after being so good :-O I'm spending today and tomorrow…

  • Hi I just joined the group, and this thread called to me because I just started working the overnight shift about 2 weeks ago. Quite the adjustment! I am teaching students of all ages in Korea and Japan from America during the hours of about 9 PM to 10 AM in addition to teaching piano lessons during afternoon/evening…
  • You look fantastic! Your confidence really shows in your outfit, hair, smile, stance- the whole package :) Thank you for shating!
  • Starting Weight (1/1): 162.0 Week 1: 158.8 Week 2: 158.7 Week 3: 158.1 Week 4: 157.4
  • Nice job, everyone!! I'll be weighing in in the morning. I have a feeling it's a been a week where my weight's gone in the right direction :)
  • I lived in Gainesville from 2003-2011, when I decided I wanted to go teach English in South Korea. I miss Gainesville a lot!
  • Mine is set to 30-40-30 (c-p-f,) but I've been going over in the fat category more days than not lol. As long as I'm not going over in carbs, I feel okay with that, though
  • I love Six Week Six Pack! I can really feel it working my abs :) I should try to do that one more consistently I think hehe. Just got my Hard Body workout in for the evening. It actually was a little easier than I remembered, but I hadn't done it for a long time. Sometimes I like that her longer workouts have a little more…
  • This weekend has been rough for me. I had some kind of mystery rash pop up all over my skin yesterday (that still hasn't completely gone away) and female issues going on today. Luckily I got my workouts in before having to call it an early evening with Benadryl yesterday. And doubly luckily, today was my scheduled…
  • None of Jillian's workouts are a joke, that's for sure. I wasn't doing workouts as intense as Jillian's the last few months, so I actually expected to be in worse shape than I am, but so far the Level 1 stuff is going all right. I expect once I go to Workouts 3 and 4 in Body Revolution, I'll really notice the difference.…
  • No More Trouble Zones is probably my favorite workout as well :) I always feel like Jillian shines in her strength work. It seems like some people don't like Hard Body as much, but I really liked it as well. So far I've been sticking to the plan, and doing lots of other workouts too! Yeah tomorrow's kickboxing will be nice…
  • I used it for the first time this evening in the chicken recipe I tried, and the recipe turned out quite tasty at least: http://nomnompaleo.com/post/4207543396/damn-fine-chicken#. I saw it used in a bunch of other recipes, too, so I plan on using it a lot :) I got mine from Amazon.
  • Congratulations on your success so far! I didn't realize Body Revolution wasn't available in the UK. You might be able to find some of the Body Revolution videos on YouTube, but I'm not sure if they'd be blocked in your region. When I'm really working hard, I usually record JM as Circuit Training since that's a high…
  • Great job everybody!
  • Yeah my dad eats completely different foods from my mom and me. Greek yogurt never seems to give me digestive issues like milk or cheese do if eaten in excess, so it's something I plan to include in my diet from time to time :)

  • Today I'm following more of a primal diet than paleo. Despite our best intentions to eat all the non-approved foods back in December, we still have that 2nd container of plain Greek yogurt in the fridge from a Costco 2-pack. My mom commented that she missed eating bread or a roll last night, but I've been doing…

  • Sounds great! I've done 5 Jillian workouts so far this year. (I'm having Sunday and Wednesday be my off-days.) My mom joined me for the first 3 workouts, but she's been nursing a sore back this week. Hoping she's ready to join me for more Body Revolution on Thursday :) I'm sure I'll substitute sometimes, especially her…
  • I took spinning classes in Korea last year. It was a completely different experience. Disco lights, K-Pop songs, and yes, choreography. Here's an example of what it's like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GyLDPNTN1E I miss it ;)

  • I do my weigh-ins on Sundays, since that's typically my weigh-in day for the Hogwarts Challenges here on MFP, so I'll go with yesterday's weight: Week 1: 162 Week 2: 158.8 Progress: -3.2 :-D
  • This might be strange, but could you wrap meatballs in the smaller sized seaweed sheets? I used to make rice, meat, and veggie balls that I wrapped in seaweed, so as long as the meatballs have paleo-friendly binding ingredients, that could work. Whether or not it sounds good to anyone other than me is up for debate haha
  • Day 2 went well. Mostly leftovers from yesterday. But... I already cooked up a couple dishes for the next several days, so I'm excited :)
