I had Mustard Crusted Salmon with Roasted Asparagus for dinner tonight: http://cookeatpaleo.com/mustard-crusted-salmon-with-roasted-asparagus/ Hard to believe this took less than 15 minutes from my fridge to my mouth ;) So quick, easy, and delicious!

I made this for dinner on April 1st and brought leftovers to add to my lunch salad on the 2nd: http://realfoodforager.com/recipe-spiced-mustard-glazed-chicken-thighs/ really good! I'm really new to cooking in the mornings. (I usually sleep in late and microwaving a bowl of oatmeal for a minute and a half.) But I've been…

I'm also planning on logging my food for the reason you said, hdsqrl- to see what things I should eat/more less of. I'm pretty sure the harder challenge for me will be eating enough veggies, not just sticking to the foods I'm supposed to eat. Also, it's just nice to have your food journal to look back on in the future. If…

I had this quick garlic shrimp breakfast this morning: http://meatified.com/garlic-shrim/#.UVjagRfwlqx Delicious! I think I might actually enjoying doing breakfasts like this. They don't take much longer to make than my morning oatmeal (only about 10 minutes total.) And I still have tons of energy/no feelings of hunger. Of…

I read through It Starts With Food over the last couple evenings. Although it was a little science-y (just because I've been hearing similar ideas a lot lately,) I really enjoyed it. I like that the authors are empowering us to make our own decisions about food and that they provided really easy meal ideas. I've been…

I also did my pantry cleanse over the weekend :-D I have a bottom corner cupboard where I put all the no-no items. They'll still be there for future treats/when I'm cooking for other people/events, but they will be completely out of sight during my 30 days. I made a bunch of freezer meals last month that use pasta and…

Oh man, how I miss Publix hahaha. I lived in Florida for 8 years before moving to South Korea in 2011, and Publix is my all-time favorite grocery store. At least I can't be tempted by their subs and chocolate chip cookies on this side of the world ;) I'm also trying lots of sweet potato, meat, and veggie combinations for…

Hi everyone! I've been trying to add more primal-type foods into my diet this month, but I'm getting ready to go "all-in" with the Whole30 program for 30 days. I was thinking of starting next month, so April 15th sounds like the perfect time to start :) I'll be easing myself into cutting out more crap until then hehe. I've…

This sounds great! I'm looking to lose 20 pounds to get to my goal weight :) (I'm about 150 now and want to be 130.) I'm not in a rush. I lose slowly because of PCOS. But my goal is in 2013 to lose the last 20 pounds!
-
My goal for February is 50 miles, starting today, February 3rd (South Korea time.) It's definitely going to be mostly "Leslie" miles instead of walking outside since it's sooo cold these days!

Agreed- the 15 minute workout wasn't bad. I do think the Fire classes are more fun though!
-
Okay this is just what I needed to not feel bad hahaha. I did the workout on the 1st, but I felt really awful yesterday. So thankful for a day off work to rest. Anyway, I'm going to do Day 2 this evening and just swap my rest day out. I'm nervous for the HIIT workout haha. But it's so short, so it can't be that bad, right?…
-
I'm going to start tomorrow, January 1st :) I will add you ladies as friends so we can motivate each other!
-
I'm planning on starting TurboFire tomorrow as well :) Should we start a group challenge?
-
Sounds great! I was looking for a challenge for the new year :)
-
I'd like to join this challenge :)
-
I also just discovered Pop Pilates and Blogilates. I previewed a few videos yesterday, and they look great! I'm starting right now with the December 25th workout suggestions from the calendar :) Maybe this group can get a challenge going in January!

Just finished the challenge! In typical last-minute fashion, I completed it on December 15th, even though I started on Nov. 1... But the MOST IMPORTANT thing is I finished it! For the first time I saw an exercise challenge all the way through to the end :-D I lost 2 kg (about 4.4 lbs.) during the time, and I'll take my…

Great to hear! Once I finish the challenge, I'm going to do various exercise DVDs to mix things up for the rest of the month, but I think I might try Ripped in 30 for January... if any of you ladies (or gents) fancy a January challenge!

Just did Day 1 of Level 3. I think I like it better than Level 2. I like the ab moves, and I enjoyed adding weights to the cardio moves in circuit 2. Still don't like doing things in a plank-y position, but that's only because I find them difficult, so it's important that they're included in different forms in this level…
-
It felt so good to finish Level 2 just now! I felt so strong doing it this last time. Even with modifications, I felt like I was giving it my all :) Level 3 tomorrow... I can do it!
-
Ow OW! check out your abs, hips, and booty! You're my inspiration to do my 30DS tonight, even though my one hip is really sore from dance class this evening. Maybe a good stretch first is all I need ^^
-
I also got my workout in yesterday! Had to go lighter during the 2nd and 3rd cardio portions, but I too was happy to get back into it :) Keep it up today!
-
Zoukeria- funny!! Since I know Jillian works hard for her body and is just playing the role of the personal trainer, it doesn't bother me too much that she doesn't do all the moves with me ;) It really depends on the exercise whether or not I have to modify up or down. I give it my all during cardio, but there are some…

The good thing is, this challenge goes until December 15th. I've also been sick since about last Thursday, and I think I've only managed to do 30DS once since then (although I've been trying to walk to get some exercise in before going to bed early each night.) But I think it's great that we have that little cushion for…
-
Just go for it, mlittleplume! I know I got bored doing the same workout each day near the end of Level 1, so if nothing else, at least it will add a little variety :) It's definitely a step up, especially the strength sections and all the planks, but the fact that it's still less than a 30-minute workout is what's been…
-
I agree with siehatsdrauf- you should start today! (I am always working on not being one of those "I'll start my diet/workout plan at the beginning of the next month" people.) I have a cold now, and I fell asleep early before doing my workout last night. To play catch up today, I'm planning on doing Level 1 and Level 2. I…

That's exactly what I'm thinking now, too. "I want to be able to say that I have completed the challenge!" I'm actually doing 2 challenges on MFP now: the 30 Day Shred, and the November Walk Challenge in a Leslie/WATP group. (I pledged to do 50 miles this month.)
-
campb2ti, I've also really noticed my motivation slipping this week :'( I still want to be active and eat well, but I'm starting to dread doing 30 DS. Like yesterday, I did another workout video first (just a Leslie Sansone walking video) just to make sure I had the energy to be out of my bed before doing my "real"…
