I'm very interested in finding the answer as well :/ I'm 5'5, 130 lbs, and very active (I sprained my ankle last week so I haven't been doing much recently). The month after I started calorie counting(March 2012), I lost my period. I think it was because I had no idea what I was doing and my intake was strictly 1200…

From my own experience of eating 1200 calories a day or less, it didn't feel right for me. Yeah, I lost 15 lbs in about 2 or 3 months,, but a lot of it was also muscle and I felt so weak. I also found myself binging about once a week, which is an eating disorder in itself... I, too, upped my calories to 1600-1800, and I…

Congrats with such a big accomplishment! I have the same phone case :)

I agree with the phone scanning. It works most of the time, and it's really easy. I don't worry too much about incorrect data, because I always look at the nutritional info and make sure to find the correct entry. I also weigh my fruits and veggies to make sure I know exactly how much I'm getting

I'm a Christian as well! Add me if you'd like

Depends what calorie range you're looking for :) Some of my favorites are just fruits and veggies, like apples and carrots. But you can also try almond butter (90 cals per tablespoon) on wheat toast. I also really like rice cakes - the mini flavored kinds (cinnamon, berry, apple, etc.) are good! I recently found out how to…

Great job! I had the same problem with over-exercising and not eating enough, and it definitely didn't help. That's awesome that you have been reaching your goals!

I agree - its a little tough with the angle, but your face does look more slim! Keep at it girl! (:

That's awesome! Very true about how we all carry weight differently - jealous of your flat stomach!

Oh boy, I gave up on the thighs already... lol

Haha! Cake, I wish :/ And I totally get you about the body builder style - I've been doing A LOT of weight lifting, so my arms are looking really toned, but I'm worried that the rate of arm toning is going faster than ab toning! Hopefully I DON'T turn out like a bodybuilder...

No way, I've never found someone with the same stats! I also have a rather large range of weight fluctuation - but I drink a lot of water so I'm not too worried. I just can't seem to lose the last couple pounds for good, lol

Dang girl you've got an awesome variety of stuff! Well for breakfast, I usually have 2 cups of Special K cereal with 1 cup of FF milk, which is about 310 calories. However, you could do something really creative with all that fruit you've got. Not sure what the nutritional facts are in the Kashi oatmeal - but I'm sure that…

Height: 5'5" Weight: 127 Age: 18 Daily calorie goal (not including exersize): around 1700 Average weight loss per week: 0.2 - 0.5 Starting weight: 143

I had the same problem - I lost 15 lbs but I didn't know where it was coming from! Family/friends seemed to notice weight loss/muscle building, so I didn't worry about it too much. If you do cardio workouts, then that's great. Try to work on toning your abs, by doing different workouts (squats, twists, not crunches). A lot…

1700 is a healthy calorie intake, depending on your activity. If you're very active, then you could probably make it a little higher. 1200 is very low for anyone in general. I went on 1200 for about 3 months (being very active) and I lost 15 lbs but I became pretty weak. I suggest you just eat what feels right and helps…
