Fries: http://nobunplease.com/crispy-daikon-fries/ Steph the buns were ok. Pretty dry tasting and they didn't rise like the picture but made a good carrier for the pulled pork.

I gave the kids one and they said "mmm can we have those?". No way lol. Those are MINE!

Just made them for dinner. Meh. Just taste like a basic almond flour bisquit and mine didn't puff up like the picture.

I find I still get bouts of hypoglycemia if i haven't eaten in a few hours which is why the Atkins bars seemed to work well. I find with nuts it doesn't really help quickly. Maybe macadamian nuts will be better than almonds?

Yes use that keto calculator. Its a good one. I'd do a 10-15% cut to start (you'll see where to put in your deficit) and adjust in a few weeks if you don't lose on the lesser deficit

Nice, will do!

How long has your weight been the same? A plateau isn't a stall until 4 weeks with no change I believe. My macros are currently set at 10% carbs, 20% protein, 70% fat. Once I deduct my fiber from my carbs for my NET carbs, I end up between 20 and 30. Calories do matter IMHO, but if your carbs are low enough and your fat is…

I don't know if mine is open? If not, I can do

I wonder if you can bake these. I HATE deep frying stuff. Not because I fear fat but because I don't have a deep fryer and I always get splatted with grease. Yes I use a grease splatter guard, but always end up getting hit. Skills I tell ya.

I bought a little 1 lb bag of erythritol at our local health food store for $27 :o

Feel free to add me too. :) Although today I appologize for my lunch consisting of hot dogs, cheese and low sugar ketchup. *blush* It was that or I dove head first into a PB&J sammie.

I'm in BC as well and haven't ever seen anything other than a HAAS avacado. There's fiber in it too so the carb count isn't horribly bad. Enjoy!

For me, I'd play with how it really is. This candy is intended for customers to lure them in and become interested in your product right? Well, you are not a customer, and the candy is not intended for you to consume. Just take the focus off of that candy being there and available for you to eat as a free for all. Make it…

I have my macros set to 10% carbs, 20% protein and 70% fat. I do however count NET carbs so even though i'm allotted 45 grams of carbs with the 10% I actually try to eat 20 net carbs, and 30ish total. ETA congrats on the 108 lbs lost! That is amazing!!! Good job!

It just surprised me because usually even items that contain oats usually just say "this item may contain traces of wheat". I've never actually seen a warning about wheat without there actually being an actual wheat item in there. I'd love to do jerky but I have TMJ disorder and have had jaw surgery so anything chewy is…

We all differ so it's really hard to tell you how much you can lose. I'm 5'8, 34 years old, started at 230.8 lbs and now 4 1/2 months later I'm 195.8 pounds. I probably could lose quicker but I have my calories set to 1900. I don't want to end up at 1200 calories when I get to my goal weight so I'd rather lose slower at a…

Take your friends comment and make it fuel for your fire. People are jerks and you definitely don't need friends like that. Find a plan that works for you, pick yourself up, keep your chin up and kick some butt! You've got this!

KnitOrMiss this is what google told me. For 1 tblsp Psyllium husk count: 1 – 2 tblsps coconut flour 2 – 3 tblsps Pofiber* 1/2 tblsp Carob flour or a mixture of all these I also have no psyllium husks and I want to make these tonight so I'll try with coconut flour. :)

A fat suit made out of the fat I've shed would be awesome. hehe.

LOL My trick.....a tiny little container of vicks to keep in your pocket. A little rub of vicks under the nose before doing my job and it helps. :)

What about shredded chicken taco's topped with sour cream? :)

....yeah.....not good. ;) If only worked in a bakery. Mmmmmm. A low carb bakery that is.

I eat 3 "meals" and usually 3 snacks. I can't eat much at one sitting so I eat smaller meals and snacks in between. Works for me. :)

Day 2 and 3 were the worst for me. I had also eliminated caffeine so I was going through caffeine withdrawal. Chicken broth and dill pickles were my saviour. lol

I am the exact same way when I'm in ketosis. It's so strange. I can cut an onion and 5 days later can still smell the onion on my hand even though hubby says he can't. I work in a nursing home as a care aide....so the sensitive smell is NOT a good thing ;)

I do eat the occasional bowl of chili made with black beans. They are relatively lower carb and I just make sure the rest of my meals throughout the day are lower carb than normal. :)

It sounds funny to say it out loud but I have (yes....my old ways still come through) the thought that I can't wait until I hit goal so I can go back to eating what I want and not having to exercise. Its kind of like how I was always baffled at the thin people at the gym. I'd always think "WHY??? Your job is done, go home…

I have nothing really to add but I completely understand. My first 3 months I had NO desire to cheat, now its a battle...all....day.....long.

I've drank twice since going LCHF in may and both times almost got stumbling drunk after two weak drinks. Lol. Other than the easily drunk, didn't do anything.

Today has been good. Did a 5k race with friends this morning and been on track all day. Sitting at 16 net carbs for the day!
