Chew gum! You can't sample with gum in your mouth.

I've taken a host of different things over my time dieting. I've tried Mega Green-T, a ton of dif cleanse pills, raspberry ketone, etc. Nothing works. I never felt any different taking any of them, and they never produced results. SO, I'd say save your money.

I've recently had blood work done as well as an ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound and everything checked out to be totally normal. I'm waiting to get the (probably hefty) bill for all of the stuff I got done last month, but an endocrinologist is on my list as soon as I can afford one :/ My levels from 2 years ago…

I do have a Polar FT4 and I usually burn maybe on the high end 180cals but usually 150ish in a workout and my BPM is generally 160-ish. I do wear it when I do the weight training but only burn maybe 50-70cals. I don't have a pedometer, but I don't think I walk 10,000 steps unless its a particularly busy day at work. And…

Thanks for all the suggestions! Since I've already increased, do I just stick with it? Or should I lower then gradually increase?
-
Have you gotten blood work done? It could be a hormonal imbalance or something to that effect. 1300 isn't a lot (I know it's progress, for you, though!) so your body may need more. I have a similar issue with disordered past habits. I had blood work done 3 years ago and it said I was post menopausal (I'm 21, so no haha)…

Generally, everyone gets food babies. You eat and drink and the food kind of chills out inside you until it's absorbed and released. There's not a whole lot you can do besides not eating haha. Bloating can be caused by a lot of different things, namely the big culprits are fibrous things like fruits and veggies, dairy, and…

Unfortunately, there's no way to selectively gain fat. If there was, I'd make all of it go to my boobs and butt haha. You can gain weight and hope it goes to your boobs. In order to do that, simply eat more than you should maintain at. If you want to build the muscle under your boobs, do chest exercises. It won't make them…

I'm iron deficient! The effects it had on me was I used to feel very lethargic, huffy-puffy, like I couldn't get a good breath, and my skin on my palms, soles of my feet, and where my elbows and knees bent looked jaundiced haha. I went to a doc and they told me to take 65mg ferrous sulfate and 500mg vitamin C (to help with…

ahahaha I've had a similar experience with the Fiber One brownies. They were so good but then I realized...FIBER One. That on top of my pretty fiber-rich diet was a big whoopsies.

Have you considered a digestive aid with probiotics like Culturelle or Pearls? I know Activia is touted to be this great thing, but it might contribute to bloating b/c it prob has artificial sweeteners. If you want the good bacteria, eat plain Greek yogurt or Kiefer :)

My boobs hahaha :'(

I like to bring a tupperware of plain quinoa to work, and add in whatever it is we are serving that day. I work at a banquet hall, and usually I add in some baked chicken breast and shred it up and mix in some BBQ sauce. A while back, we had spinach and feta stuffed chicken breasts for a baby shower, and I decided to ditch…

Oh man, you name it, I've tried it haha. I started at ~200lbs starving myself, eating an apple and 2-3 cookies a day and working out with an hour of cardio, that was super effective and I lost around 5-6lbs a week. I also lost my hair and my period. Then I fixed myself, went to a nutritionist, and got my life back…

How long does it take for that fluid storage to neutralize? I've only been using weights for 3 weeks, but I do feel very much like I'm retaining water.
-
Ahhhh pure not supposed to tell me that haha noooo! I guess do what works for you, you know your body best. I'm hoping mine will start to positively respond but I guess I'll wait 2-3 more weeks to see.
-
Ok so apparently I made a mistake! I guess I was t on a VLCD. I did only net around 950-1000, but I guess that's just low? Anyways, sorry for all the confusion with the title! I would edit it but I'm mobile and I can't right now.
-
Oh huh I never actually thought of just food and glycogen storage. That makes sense. And that's what I was hoping for, ideally, I would like to see a down trend or at least maintenance, I wish my body would get the message and calm down haha

That's what I was thinking! I know 1700 is a pretty decent number, I'm not vigorously active, but I do walk around a lot at work and do around 15-20 mins of cardio and 15 or so mins of weights daily. I've got 2 weeks to make it a month, then I guess I will decrease :/
-
The thing is, I'm gaining on 1700 :/ All the calculators I've used, I've plugged my stats and lightly active, and most of em say 18-1900, but I'm not even eating that much and it's causing a gain. I'm really hoping it's an adjustment period, but I figured the increases would stop after about a week, it doesn't seem like…

I posted there, thanks!

I sat through it once (omg it was like 15 minutes). iirc, they were bananas, refined sugars/grains, juices, and I can't remember the last two. I wanna say soy and red meat? Whatever the case was, it was only to advertise their program.
-
She advised 45-50% carbs, so I was sticking with that. I don't eat a whole lot of bread type carbs, but I do like fruit and I heard that can skew things. And I should have specified a bit more, I did eat 13-1400 but after exercise that was probably closer to 950-1000, so I thought anything below 1200 is considers VLCD? My…

Well I ate 13-1400 but after exercise it was most likely around 950-1000 so I thought anything below 1200 was vlcd? My starting stats were 140 at 5'5", 21, lightly active. All the calculators say I should net around 1800, but the dietitian said aim for 1700 total, not net. I'm never really too over, not enough to make a…

As far as the tailbone, I'm kind of clueless. I would say maybe you've lost TOO much weight, but judging from your profile pic, you don't look emaciated or anything like that haha. Maybe try to build some butt muscle as a cushion? The armpit problem is one I can assist you with! I had that problem when I was at my lowest…

Rinse the canned veggies! I'm not sure how much gets rinsed off, I think I saw a study somewhere (I'm sure it's on google), that rinsing gets rid of at least 20% of the sodium. If you wanna get weird, you can rinse canned tuna too. I did that for a while, but then I figured a little sodium once in a while won't matter as…

She's just looking out for you haha! My fam found my secret treat stash, so I don't really have any treaty treats either. Maybe for the better lately haha

I've heard about this! I can't bring myself to do it. My hair looks pretty grimy after 2 days of no washing. (Plus, I work in a kitchen, so my hair usually smells like chicken and grease when I get home lol) I try to use safer shampoos, with no sulfates etc. but I know it's not as safe as they say. More power to you if you…

I started this: https://payhip.com/b/Vu8s And so far, so good! I bought 2 8lb dumbells (too heavy for some of the exercises, whoopsies!) at 5 Below for $5 a piece. I also bought a resistance band at 5 Below and I do a total body workout from Oxygen Magazine.com or GymRa. The Yes, I Lift! workouts take about 20-25 mins ant…

I don't but I have a friend who wears her Polar HRM while waitressing and she usually burns ~300 calories. I usually judge it by how wiped out I am at the end of the day. If I feel like I really worked it and had some needy people I was running for, I'll eat a bit more or have a little snack while working. If it was kind…
