I used to eat all of mine when I was on 1400 cals a day. Now I've upped it to 1900 a day (and the weight is still coming off) but haven't decided if I'll eat back a large burn (large for me is 500+) or not. I'll be keeping the scale and measuring tape handy for the next few months and see how I feel, see what works. Feel…

Awesome! I'd high 5 ya if I could, haha. Don't stop pushing for a better time! You will destroy the next fitness exam!

Beautiful story in your dog's memory. You should print and frame it. So sorry for your wife's loss of a dear friend. :( They always wiggle their ways into the deepest parts of our hearts.

I had a super hard time doing a 3500/cal a week challenge a month ago... but I need some kind of a challenge, so I'll give it a go! :)

I was exactly where you are at about a year ago. I had great success with MFP! After trying for 2 years, I changed my habits, ate nutritiously and found out we were pregnant last March! You can do this... sounds like your organizing night will be an important step. Best of luck to you! We are all here for support :) Use us!

I was just googling mug cake today! Soo glad you posted this... I was very discouraged that the recipe I entered into MFP was over 1000 cal. Nice to have a better alternative. What kind of mix did you use, if you don't mind?

And good luck (sorry, my manners are off today) :)

Go to bed! And wake up early enough to get your mind right. You've got this!

Loving these ideas! I've done the cauliflower crust pizza twice, it's yummy but a lot more work than I prefer. Gonna try some of these easier ones!

Yay! You look awesome.... hard work really pays off :) Enjoy the healthier you and good luck with those last few lbs!

Yep, I eat as close to all of them back as I can. Of course this depends on what time I work out. If I work out late, and I'm not hungry then that would be the only instance in which I don't eat them back. MFP already has you on a calorie deficit set to lose weight. So ideally, you wouldn't need to work out to drop the…

Not sure if these games count.... Fable (2nd one was my fav) and Minecraft! I don't play shoot em up games, those are more in my husband's domain.

Thank you for sharing your story and adding your insight! And I'm grateful you have made it to the other side, too!

Spices are your friend :) I used to be really picky growing up. But after trial and error with preparation techniques I have found that I like more than I thought was possible! Every day I eat mushrooms, a couple cups of baby spinach (cooked with the mushrooms) and maybe some onion. Huge fan of minced garlic, garlic…

Hi there! I started at about 220 lbs, very similar to where you're coming from! I have found that if I don't allow a couple of small cheats (keyword being small :)), that my progress is noticeably slowed. Typically if I get a craving for something I know I shouldn't have I look for a healthy alternative. If I still have…

I don't like coconut *flavored* things, but I LOVE coconut oil. I buy from Hyvee, Spectrum unrefined coconut oil. I recently bought a new (to me) kind from Trader Joe's because it was about half the price but I haven't tried it yet. I use it anytime I cook in a skillet, really. Usually with eggs or stir fry. Doesn't make…

I am a natural worrier - I thought I'd never get pregnant, because I wanted to sooo bad. But I did. Then of course I panicked about making it to term/ having a healthy baby/ being able to breastfeed and so on. The list never ends. Now that she is here I have a million new worries that I have to filter through. I think some…
