I've been taking the generic of synthroid for years now- maybe 15-20? And I've never had adverse effects to it. Anyway... My dosage is constantly changing! So it may take a while (I was told up to 3 months) for your body to adjust to having the meds and seeing results, but they will come. As long as you take the meds, you…

I'm no expert, but you simply need to do more strength training, focusing on your upper body/arms. You don't need to lose more weight, you look great! It sounds like you just want more muscle tone, so that's what you need to focus on. You're right, you can't spot reduce, but if you focus your training on your arms for…

Sounds awesome!! Thanks for sharing!

If I do weights / strength training that day, I eat protein after dinner, like a couple pieces of turkey breast lunch meat, or a light protein shake to help my muscle repair overnight. Otherwise, I'm loving those Fiber One 90 calorie brownies and a cup of decaf tea...

Lifetime Fitness. Expensive & HUGE, but great facility. Even when it's crowded there are always machines and spots to work out. Plus it has multiple pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms...

I work out after work in the evenings (around 5:30pm), so I always have a low sugar protein bar an hour before I go (with at least 15-20 g of protein). I find that apples, peanut butter, etc. don't give me sustainable energy for my workouts- I run out of steam and crash about half way though, especially if I'm doing…

I wish my boobs would go away! The worst part for me is my clothes are too big! Which is good, right? Except I don't want to waste money buying new clothes every few months... It's mostly my pants falling off! I have invested in some belts, but they only go so far- eventually, pants/jeans get that saggy-butt thing going,…

Bump. would love to know this as well!

Oh no, so sorry to hear that you're getting frustrated! First of all, don't compare your weight loss journey to that of your husband's- men's metabolisms are completely different and they tend to drop weight more quickly. But if he's not being careful about what he eats though, he'll eventually stop losing until he makes…

I log every day! And exercise 6 days a week ;-) Feel free to add me, I would love to support you!

Hi! I'm on all the time, and would love to help motivate you! Request sent!

I'm at 1200 a day with MFP as well- I don't eat back ALL of my exercise calories, but I do eat usually 200-300 more calories on work out days (5-6 days/week). The increase in calories definitely helps me lose weight, but I'm still struggling with a balance... Agree with everyone here, you need to eat more.

Request sent! I would be happy to help keep you motivated. Anyone can feel free to add me as well!

Request sent! I'm on here everyday too, and am happy to give support (or get it)! Anyone is free to add me :-)

I totally agree that "fitness" shirt options suck!! I can never find one that's not skin tight, and I hate clingy tops! I always wear baggy t-shirts and cute work out bottoms... my trainer teases me, but hey, my work out, my comfort level! I just don't know why they're sized so differently than a normal shirt or t-shirt. I…

I just recommend doing what works for you, who cares what you look like, it's your workout, and you are the one who will look more awesome for it!! Do what you need to do! I lift and don't wear gloves. I do have callouses, which I was very self-conscious about, but now I just don't care because they help! I may need to…

Stop weighing yourself everyday!! Try just once a week- it is totally normal for your weight to fluctuate that much on a daily basis! I didn't look at your diary, but your calories don't sound bad- could have to do with sodium, water retention, activity levels, any number of things can make your weight fluctuate that much.…

Olive oil Multigrain blend with vegetables Soyaki marinade (for my chicken!) Cage free egg whites Guilt Free Brownie mix (used to be called No Pudge Fudge Brownies, which is a much better name!) Wine, of course! I used to buy their chocolate covered pretzels, and how I miss them now!

I noticed about the same time as my coworkers and family- about 25 pounds, because my clothes started getting baggy. Other friends and family noticed at about 45 pounds... haven't tested it out too much yet though, I'm "in hiding"!

Agree with all of the above posters! Personally, I need to eat something an hour before my work outs, which are always at 5:30 pm after work, otherwise I totally fizzle out with no energy (or dizzy, depending on what I"m doing). I usually eat a low sugar protein bar an hour before, whether or not I'm hungry, because that's…

I always have a low sugar protein bar an hour before the gym, or else I fizzle out during my workout.

Agree with the squares of dark chocolate, works like a charm for a craving! Or try the Fiber One chocolate brownies with chocolate chips- 90 cals, and they taste delish!

Great work, you look fantastic! And what a great idea, to post progress pics... maybe I should do so I feel like I'm getting somewhere too ;-)

Sending request now ;-) I'm always looking for more positive people to motivate me, and that I can keep motivated! I'm on everyday!
