  • Following!!!! I recently decided I want to join the air Force and I'm also 28...well for 2 more weeks 😅. I know I need to get to 160 for my height and I honestly have no clue what my weight is currently...I'm guessing 210? I've been reading a lot about what they do at boot camp and it looks like running 1.5+ miles every…
  • Realizing I'm a medium and can fit in the majority of the stores at the mall. I've been a large as long as I can remember, maybe back in Middle school I was a medium.
  • I usually have a protein shake. 1 tub lasts 2ish weeks with 2 scoops for the standard blender bottle size.
  • Congrats!!!! You've definitely come a long way since you were 15. Love the No Face in the background too <3 <3 <3
  • Cottage Cheese <3 <3 <3 (Love the stuff) Spinach and....some kind of protein bar. I have them for breakfast :p
  • My lunch for tomorrow. Small snack box is a Greek salad (little container is italian dressing) and carrots. Big container is homemade bean nuggets, edamame, sweet mini peppers, celery, and freeze dried strawberries (they're actually pretty good). Total for the 2 containers comes out to be 337 calories.
  • I'm going to Myrtle Beach in July. I want to drop another 40 pounds by then and hopefully wear a bikini for the first time in my life and not feel out of place. I'm 184 now so it isn't too far of a stretch
  • I'm eating around those calories a day :) I'm also extremely sedentary (currently unemployed) so I might increase my calories once I become more active. I have an open diary if you'd like to view it.
  • Me :D I am trying to log daily or at least finish the day off (I sometimes just don't log dinner). I have an open diary so if you'd like a new friend, feel free to add me. I'm mostly a vegetarian, sometimes a vegan and sometimes a pescetarian when there isn't any vegan/vegetarian options.
  • I'm not quite a vegan. I'm a vegetarian (sometimes a pescetarian) and sometimes my meals are 100% vegan. My diary is open if you'd like to take a gander.
  • Sometimes I have to kill both apps and then I launch the fitbit app and sync it. It then I open up the MFP app and refresh and then I find that it has the correct amount of steps. It can be finicky.
  • I'm kinda close. I live in Atlanta :)
  • My NSV is a bit vain but when I looked up briefly when I was at the bench press machine, my ribs were slightly higher than my stomach when I was laying down. That was an incredible feeling :D
  • I started around where your weight is (185 now) and we are the same height! I'm going to be starting lifting today so hopefully I can post some inspiring photos on this thread!
  • Protein and carbs for sure. If you're just starting out and have it at 2 pound loss per week could be too low for you. Perhaps up it up to 1 pound loss per week. If I'm in-between meals and I feel a pang of hunger then I just jump straight for the water! Sometimes what we think is hunger is actually thirst :)
  • It's all good. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just get back on the track to lose weight :D
  • Tofu :) Edamame beans I get a lot of protein from carbs actually. I'm a vegetarian so it's definitely a macro I look out for. I do like Barilla's Protein Plus pasta. It has the same amount of carbs as normal pasta but with more protein from lentils. Target has lentil pasta.
  • FOOOD PREEEPPPPP!!! This makes a world of a difference! Plan all your meals. Don't think you have time to come up with meals? Think about meals during transit time. While on a bus or driving, think of tasty things that you want to make that would not take that long to make. One that I did last week was this onion soup and…
  • Because I recently made onion soup from one of my favorite games <3 <3 <3
  • I food prep ALLLLLLL the time. Sundays I usually make a soup for lunches for the week (Last week I made onion soup) and I also make dinners for the week. I would also make overnight oats when I wanted to eat breakfast. I find it is so much easier to portion control when I food prep because I take a gander at how much I…
  • I made this onion soup. It appears to be low carb and low calorie. I'm a vegetarian so it was perfect.
  • I like to look on youtube for food ideas! I'm lazy af so I always go for the easy recipes!!! I made this onion soup last week. It was pretty tasty :)
  • I made this onion soup last week. It was around 170 calories when I added it into MFP recipe maker. I liked it. Easy meal.
  • I did Paleo for a month a few years ago. I found it difficult at first but it definitely helped me with my bread and carb love. I couldn't do it now because I'm a vegetarian and I've found delicious pastas that have wheat and lentils in them that are a great protein source. Best of luck to you! Enjoy your new lifestyle
  • Nuts, avocados, peanut butter, carbs (you mentioned Rice) and more are great if you find yourself low on calories. It's fine if you're 1000 calories. Somedays I find myself around there and I'm perfectly fine with it but I know I could easily get 2000 calories with little effort.
  • 1. I am currently on unemployment for the first time in my life. 2. I am learning Japanese 3. I'm in love with a K-Pop song (Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang)
  • Rachel and Jun Sharla in Japan Princess Peachie PewdiePie Domo and Chrissy Charles Gross Venus Angelic Sukoshineko (New fav...love all things nerdy)
  • I am currently listening to a very addicting KPop song. I never thought I'd get into a song where I didn't know the lyrics to! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ips2mM7Zqw
  • I recently made this onion soup!!!! Super good and really easy to make :) It's still nice to have soups because it is still coldish where I live. I think it was like 170ish calories per serving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2Ujn8p9tGs
  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2Ujn8p9tGs I recently tried that recipe. I liked it. I'm a huge soup fan since they generally are lower calorie and you can make them however you want :D
