  • Are you in Barcelona? I have family that lives there.
  • I'm doing Jillian Michaels Body Revolution for the 2nd time. It's addicting. It's 4 high intensity circuit training routines and 2 cardio days per week for 3 months. Every two weeks the workouts change so you don't get bored. I've gained more strength from this program than anything I've ever done. Highly recommend. You…
  • I'm Dana, 39, married with a 6 yo girl and 3 yo boy. Was fortunate to be a SAHM for a while, but starting working outside the home 2 years ago. It wasn't until about 6 months ago that I found a way to fit in workouts with my schedule. So here I am about 10 pounds from my goal weight (5 that I put on since going back to…
  • Not for moms only at all! Welcome! I wasn't expecting such a big response! I hope everyone finds some support in here. If someone wants to start an official group, have at it. I'm sure there would be interest. I'm just not nominating myself to be the moderator ;) Thanks for all who have reached out so far!
  • Awesome, I'm 39. Double sigh. ;)
  • I log it as "circuit training, general" but I adjust the minutes so the calories match the reading on my HRM. I usually burn between 300-330 calories, but I'm tall. If you're not eating back your calories an estimate of 250-300 is probably accurate depending on your height/weight.
  • I might get the T25 program on Ebay, but it's much more cardio in the beginning. JMBR is the best which explains why I keep delaying my "graduation" and repeating weeks! I have JM Ripped in 30 so that's an option for me as well. I've done some Cathe workouts in the past but it was so long ago. I don't know anything about…
  • I've done one T25 workout with a friend and it was pretty good so I might look into that. However I still have Ripped in 30 that I never started so that's an option. I looked at Chalean Extreme, but I'd have to invest in more dumbbells since the highest I have is 15 lbs. Most people recommend the adjustable ones but I'm…
  • I'm doing it the same way as the first time around, but I don't think it would really matter.
  • It can't hurt and if that makes you most comfortable then I say do it!
  • Here name is Lana and YES she totally just goes through the motions -- very annoying!
  • Feeling much better after doing WO 5 for the 2nd time this week. What a difference 3 workouts make!
  • Back in the swing of things with Phase 2 Round 2! Still challenging! I think WO 6 might be one of my favorites.
  • I've been doing cardio at the gym this week after straining my low back. I've been very inconsistent since vacation a few weeks ago so I'm just going back to Phase 2 and starting from there again. I wanted to extend it anyway and after straining my back I feel more comfortable building back up again. Actually looking…
  • I'll probably go back and do Phase 2 again and then see how I feel. I love Jillian's BFBM and NMTZ so I could always do that plus the Ripped in 30 DVD I never started because I found out about BR. I've also thought about getting Chalean Extreme or T25 but I just love JM and I really like the large class size in BR.
  • Yikes. WO 10 is no joke.
  • Did WO 9 for the first time and, like Jodi, I didn't think it was that bad. It actually went by pretty fast, which was nice since it was my 2nd WO of the day. I had to take a few days off last week so I'm going to try and do extra cardio with the WOs over the next 2 weeks before going back to work on August 4th. I am…
  • Awesome results so far!
  • Pretty common! You could skip ahead or do cardio 1 after WO's 1 and 2 if you have time. If you don't have time you could jump ahead like you said. I don't think it really matters.
  • Sin, you are too funny. I HATE rock star jumps. And I don't even want to know what plank moguls or side plank burpees look like. I'm afraid, very afraid.
  • Way to go, Jodi, for working out at the hotel gym! Today was my second week with WO7 and it was a little easier this time (after the first circuit, of course). I was surprised at how much lower my calorie burn was with this workout compared to past ones that I've noticed a real difference in arm strength so it's all good.…
  • Feeling better with WO 7 the second time around. I've lost 1/2 inch in each arm since starting which is a pretty big difference in that area, I think. I feel better, but not seeing huge changes in numbers anywhere else (yet?). But I'll take arm shrinkage any day! How is everyone else doing?
  • I don't know about the rest of you but I felt like lead doing cardio 2 after 7&8 for the first time. I guess this is the first time I am really sore from the 2 previous workouts so it made a big difference. I'm officially exhausted!
  • Did WO 8 for the first time. Good news is that I burned 330 calories. The bad news is that I hated every minute of it. Something about all that cable work really errks me. But I did it! Hope everyone is doing well.
  • Just did WO 7 for the first time and let's just say it wasn't my favorite, but not awful. Scared for WO 9!
  • You could just take Cardio 1 and 2 and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism (if you have it). I wouldn't worry about not doing strength training during your trip. So much of her cardio involves plymetrics, planks, mountain climbers, etc. that it ends up being way more that straight cardio (in my opinion). I don't think it's a big…
  • I'm doing an additional week with workouts 5 and 6 since I'm not feeling so great this week. I'll do 7 and 8 the following two weeks then I'll rotate cardio1 and 2 while I'm at the beach for a week. Phase 3 will start when I get back from vacation! Hope everyone is doing well! Seems like we're all making progress.
  • Welcome! I think you'll find it hard to be bored with this workout. I find it hard to put the DVD in sometimes, but once I get started I'm OK. The routines change so often and they are so fast that it's been really enjoyable. And you gain strength so quickly that it's motivating.
  • Thanks for the head's up! WO6 done for the night.
