Whatever you do DON'T GIVE UP! Keep on doing your cardio keep logging calories cut out 'junk' carbs stay off the scales for 2 weeks don't focus on the numbers on the scales drink lots of water sipping it from a sports bottle throughout the day so you never feel really thirsty keep your goal in mind and go for it. One day…

Do not wait till your next period go see your GP a.s.a.p. and have this checked out. No one should have to suffer extreme sickness or diarrhea at the time of the month. That is not normal and does require investigation. Go on phone for an appointment now! p.s.I told you I'd be watching you xx

I gave up alcohol in June 2012 then started mfp on 5th July 2012 I have lost 53 lbs in weight and am almost at my goal weight. I haven't missed alcohol at all which surprises me as I was drinking an awful lot of wine. Drinking alcohol is empty calories and encourages you to eat the wrong types of food. I see no reason to…

They are jealous of your strength and willpower. They want you to fail. I come across this attitude in a lot of overweight people our success our determination makes them feel insecure and weak their problem not ours! I just ignore any negative comments but it makes me more determined to reach goal weight and maintain it.…

Hi I think I fit in with your tight agenda. You didn't mention anything about age phew! I weigh every Friday morning exercise most days but I'm not into gyms climbing the Munros running or training to run a marathon.I'm trying to get fit and healthy not put myself in an early grave. I've a great sense of humour well I…

Actually I'm a little older that teenager I'm 53 lol and MFP set my calories at 1200 per day and every time I lose 10 lbs MFP asks if I want to recalculate my goals and I say yes and it remains at 1200. I take a multivitamin & mineral tablet and omega 3,6 & 9 capsule every day as it's impossible to get all the nutrients…

I am 5ft 2in and eat 1200 cals per day. I exercise 6/7 days a week and don't eat back any exercise calories. I eat so much food every day to get up to 1200 cals. I eat mostly healthy foods( my diary is open if you wish to check it out) I don't know where you get the idea that 1200 cals is starving yourself. I've been on…

I have this bit around my tummy too! It's not nice but it's not nice to have a big fat tummy either! I've had 3 children and it's a bit like after you've given birth and the tummy area is left squishy(I think that's the best descriptive word for this area) hoping it will go in time. Keep up the exercise and healthy eating…

I have added you as a friend. I am on here every day and have so much determination to lose weight and gain fitness and health. I too joined for health reasons. This is a fantastic site but like every program will only work if you put in the effort. I will help and encourage you but you are the only one who can do this for…

I use a body analyser scale. It measures weight, body fat % and water %. I find it useful to know for instance that my % of water weight has increased over the weeks and my fat % decreases each week. People guess they are retaining water at certain times after eating salty foods for instance or TOM for women. This takes…

Well done fella!!

Try it and see what happens. No use seeing a wm nurse about your weight and not taking her advise. Next time you see her she may change the amount up. Maybe she wants to see if this will bring quicker results. Whatever happens you will not starve on 1000 calories a day....I could easily eat this amount. I am on 1200 a day…

You are a star! This is what keeps me motivated real stories of success from real people. Halfway there so it's downhill from here your on the home run now wtg! : )

2 hours grocery shopping is not 2 hours of walking.........it is walking in fits and starts......not the same as a 2 hour walk. I didn't take them to task over it I simply enquired how they arrived at that figure and they chose to unfriend me whilst they basked in the glory of the congrats from others. I have used a…

exactly what I thought someone was claiming to have burned almost 1000 calories by doing this activity and when I pointed out to them that it was very unlikely that the calorie burn was anywhere near that amount they unfriended me! Some people live in cloud cuckoo land.

working in a doctor's office is an ideal place to pin up a weight/height chart try putting one in the ladies toilet where people can look at in private who knows some of them might do something about their own weight but at least it should get them off your back
-
I never eat back my exercise calories I never feel hungry I eat as near to 1200 calories a day and lose weight consistantly.
-
You look fantastic. Photos show how you look to other people. When we look down at our bodies we are not seeing the true picture. Most of us would admit to hating looking at ourselves in a full-length mirror but as the weight comes off it gets a bit easier to do so. Well done.

Welcome I have added you to my friends list, Your blog sounds very similar to mine when I started mfp. Loved it then still lovin' it now 75days later and 24lbs lighter. This is not about luck this is about making good choices in food and exercise on a day to day basis.
