I don't eat them as a regular part of my diet, but I've been known to keep one in the freezer at work in case of emergency. If I forget my lunch from home or whatever plans I may have had falls through, then I have something that is fairly reasonable calorie-wise to fall back on.

One week is not enough time to judge. You made progress - your pants fit better. Not all victories are by the scale. Start logging. Even though in your mind you are eating "healthy," you just don't know for sure unless you log it accurately.

Yes. These are numbers for your entire day. It is irrelevant as to when the calories are burned or consumed.

Ugh. Just ugh! What is wrong with people?

I generally don't comment on daily diary completion entries. (I didn't know you could turn those off, so thanks MscGray for pointing that out.) But to me, any weight loss is progress so I comment to be encouraging. Esp if you know that person has been stalled for a while, I think it's nice to acknowlege they got it going…

Way to go!

I do best when I pre-plan and plug in as much as possible. I usually do it the night before for the next day - I have a hard time doing the whole week at once. Dinner tends to be the most spontaneous for me, so I if I end up not eating "as planned" then I at least have an idea of how many calories I can eat. I also like to…

You said he got angry when you said no to taking the pills. That's not "helping."

Yeah, I don't think the problem is your butt, rather where on the garment the pockets are sewn. There's that whole extra panel strip below the waist/belt loops that make the pockets extra low. If I'm being honest, not the most flattering, but it doesn't have anything to do with your body - it's the pants.

They are already cooked, so don't cook them again. Your best bet is to thaw them and use. In any "cooked" dish just add them in at the very end to warm them up a little, if desired. Make a stir fry and add them in. Add them to a little pasta with summer veggies you sauteed in a little olive oil. Put them in an awesome…

You can always make an initial goal of 170 or so and see how you feel. No need to set a number in stone now.

I'm probably not helpful because I've been drinking my tea black for ages and don't mind it. But, I love Red Rose tea. It's delicious. (And you get a "toy" in the box.) :)

I know you said no to sugar, but I find that 1/2 - 1 tsp brown sugar is plenty sweet enough for me for a 6 oz (150g) container of plain greek yogurt. That's only max 4g / 16 calories of sugar.

This IS a big change for YOU - no need to compare to other people. You've worked hard and it shows. Great job!! Keep it up!

Yes, you want to take medical advice from a professional. But, there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. I went to a new doctor (I was new to the area) to get a general check up and discuss my weight concerns as I had gotten very heavy. I told him what I had been trying to do to lose weight. He told me I was…

I just cut it in slices (maybe about 1/2" thick), put a tiny bit of water in the dish (1 TBSP at most) and put it covered in the microwave for just a few minutes - really no more than three or four at most. Any more than that it will get mushy. It's better to undercook it and then pop it back in for a minute if desired.

You may not want to worry about hitting a specific number on the scale. I know people who as they got stronger, they ended up being a smaller size and looking better than if they had just dieted down to a number.

You are all amazing and inspirational!

Thank you! I keep getting stuck in a horrible vicious cycle of the first few weeks and have been giving up too easily. This is a super inspirational reminder to keep at it!!! Congratulations on your success!
