I find they track your trend quite well if you use them correctly. It works by sending an electrical current through your body and it's measured based on the time it takes to get back to the scale. The current travels at a different speed through water. So, just like the scale weight you have to use it under the same body…

I've never logged exercise here since using a fitbit so didn't realize it adjusts based on what you've entered. It's the same number because it just takes away the calories you identified from the adjustment

If your fitbit has a HR monitor then you would be counting twice because the calories burned estimates is based on your heart rate.

I bought mine for the HR monitor. The benefit of the fitbit that helps people with motivation is the social aspect that allows you to challenge your friends. If you have the personality that you want to have more activity than your friends and it causes you to walk/run and extra 5000 steps (2 miles) to be in first...it's…

Maybe try and make something yourself? I am no cook but any means but I recently started looking up easy recipes for stuff because I have been getting bored of the same food I have been eating. You may be surprised what you can find. For example, I made something that tastes very close to peanut butter cups...no sugar was…

I tend to stay under 15 until dinner and then decide what I want to dinner. I tend to stay between 20-50.

I take fiber gummies daily because I don't get quite enough from food. Drinking the powder just seems gross. The gummies actually taste pretty good too and convenient.

I've been doing it for about a month straight and no real issues. Only once I felt dizzy and had to lay down and I think it was from too few carbs. Once I ate I was fine. I was around 10g carbs on the day before dinner. The first 2 days were harder but other than those couple hours in the middle I have had no other issues.…

Yes for certain things. For example, I will only eat natural peanut butter. The processed stuff tastes disgusting now.

I've tried the shakeology brand and it tastes pretty good. I'm currently using 18shake which is a close 2nd on taste but has substantially fewer carbs. Both seem to work for keeping you feeling full.

It's been said but food scale is important. At least until you've done it enough to really know exactly how much you eat. The other thing is when you weigh yourself make sure it's comparable. Clothes or without, same time of day, before eating, etc. I weight myself twice a day, first thing in the morning and once after…

When dehydrated or under-hydrated your stomach could be sending you hunger signals when you're really just thirsty. In that case, it could prevent over eating and help in weight loss.

Probably broken capillaries like you said. I used to get them all the time on my shoulders when using the standing calf raise machine because of all the weight on my shoulders. It never hurt and but looked bad...always went away after a couple days until the next time I used it.

I also have the Polar FT7...works great and is quite reliable and accurate. I got mine for somewhere in the $60's I think and there were cheaper ones if you didn't mind the unpopular colors.

I have a peanut butter shake that tastes great (at least to me). Vanilla whey protein powder, fat free milk, fat free butterscotch instant pudding mix and PB2. I mention that only because I think if you use chocolate powder, chocolate pudding mix and the chocolate PB2 it could be very good...I just haven't tried it myself…

Wegmans lite wheat - 80 calories for 2 slices.

I didn't think it would be a big difference but using a HRM MFP is usually fairly accruate for calories based on speed/time (at least for me). In this 90-95 degree weather with very high humidity the calories burned per HRM was 240 vs 160 on MFP...only 80 calories but it's a 50% difference.

I use glutamine powder. There's typically a small amount in protein shakes but if you don't drink those you can buy it separetly and add it to something ese. When I first started using it I went from being sore the next day after lifting weights to completely fine. I think it also can come in a pill form and it's not too…

Everyday. Everyone knows there are flucuations because of water but you can spot a trend over the course of several days to see the general direction. When i was working out everyday I woud even weigh myself before and after the workout. A couple pounds over yesterday (even knowing it's water relates) would just provide…

Looking at your food diary to see what you could change. As someone else suggested, egg whites instead of whole eggs, diet coke instead of regular, and lite wheat bread instead of white. That's 400-500 calorie difference just from that.
