One particularly difficulty thing is at work when people bring in various holiday treats. So far this week, we've had cookies, brownies, candy etc. brought in every single day. What I started doing this year is only eating things that I know will be really good. For example, if somebody makes delicious-looking chocolate…

Last Christmas was pretty tough for me, so I'm looking forward to enjoying myself this Christmas! For me, it's not worth it to be super obsessed with calories while traveling and visiting family. I will most likely still log, but I'm not going to feel bad if I indulge more often than I would throughout the year. My family…

I've been getting into crunchy chickpeas lately. 1 oz has about 6 grams of protein. You can buy them prepackaged or make them in the oven and then pack them to go. I'm thinking they'll be a good alternative to chips/other crap during football season.

Please add me. I'm trying to stay motivated this summer!

I'll add you! I'm not new, but I'm definitely in a "restart" period with logging my food.

I prepaid for the entire year, since it was much cheaper than doing month to month. But if you divide it by 12, it comes out to about $54 a month. Great gym. 24/7 hours, and has pool, bball courts, sauna etc. Considering how I was finally able to make lasting changes I think it's well worth it. I also took on extra work so…

I would love to join. Is there room?

Wow! This was a super inspiring post! Do you mind if I add you as a friend? I'm 5'4" and I think I could learn a lot from you.
-
I'm 27. I will add you!

Sounds good. I'll add you!

I'm adding you. I'm back after not logging in for a couple months, and it seems like all of my friends have been slipping too. I think I need some new people to keep me motivated!

SW: 196 GW:145 I was at 154 in mid Feb, but I didn't work out (or log my food) for a couple months due to injury. I'm back up around 160. I'm finally trying to get back to logging everyday and could really use new friends. Feel free to add me!

Distract yourself with something else, anything else. Once the feeling passes (it will), you will be so glad that you didn't give in.

I have been researching ways to make green smoothies and while this product seems appealing, I worry about it's lasting power. Has anybody had it for longer than 6 months? It seems like the only person who has said it broke. I really don't wanna drop $80-100 on something that will only last a few months.

Add me. I can totally relate!
-
Go ahead and add me! I've got around 15-20 to go. I log everyday and try to consistently share positivity with all my mfp friends.

Love Chipotle! When I started to get healthy, I was freaked out over the sodium too, but if you cut out the tortilla and use tabasco instead of their salsas that takes a good amount of the sodium out. My go to is a steak burrito bowl that usually runs me around 460 calories. You definitely have to be careful of the…

I'm just doing the one that came with my Reebok kettlebell. It's not super long and there's a beginner and a more advanced work out. This work out really kills my legs though. It takes at least 3-4 days for them to stop hurting. I think I may have purchased too heavy of a kettlebell.

This is great info and very inspiring. Do you use a specific lifting routine now? Or do you just make your own?
-
I don't really have any advice. I just wanted to say that this is my exact current routine! I'm so glad someone else does it too! Sorry for my randomness!

I'm not a morning person but it's the only time I know I can get to the gym. After work gets too hectic. Also, it feels so much better when I know I'm done for the day when I get outta work, instead of having to change and hit the gym. But with that said, I tried for years to do this, and it's only been the past few months…

SW: 172.2 CW: 171.8 This is going to be a tough week, but hopefully I can stick to my fitness plan.

I agree. The cold weather has especially bothered me this week. I bought some new sweats that will hopefully keep me warmer than my shorts and t-shirts, but it will be a struggle. I think this group will really help me stay committed throughout the month!

Weighing in at 172. Love the idea of this group but if I don't lose ten I won't be crushed. I would love to lose at least 5. Looking forward to it.

I took off all of my rings about a month ago after one fell off in the car way too easily. I'll wait until I'm close to my goal to get them resized so hopefully I'll only have to do it once. The clothes thing can be kind of annoying money-wise, but think of the money you're saving long-term because you're improving your…

Welcome! I'm going to add you. I am in a similar position. I've lost about 23, but have about 25 to go. Good luck!

I almost always have a combination of these 1) Banana before my morning workout 2) Whey protein with 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk 3) A piece of toast with natural peanut butter
