If you like club soda, you can drink that with a lime in it. In a glass, it looks like Vodka, Gin, etc. :drinker: :flowerforyou:

This is what I do. I get to buy a new charm every 5 pounds. (And as of this morning I get another one!!!!!!!!) :D  ETA: Realized after posting that OP is male...so....... +1 Good ideas!

I usually track based on when I wake up/go to sleep. In the long run, it will all pretty much even out I guess. :flowerforyou:

In for Fall and Pumpkin yumminess! :)

I agree about the difference in scales. My doctor usually takes about 10 pounds off the weight there and uses that as the recorded "home" weight. 10 POUNDS. I would make sure to take measurements as well. The scale doesn't know everything. (shhh, don't tell it I said that) Keep up the good work! :flowerforyou:

I had been skinny my whole life mostly because of my activity level and it wasn't until College I gained about 80 pounds over the course of 3-4 years. When I lost it, I think my mentality was all screwed up about how to maintain. The only way I knew was I didn't have to do anything. I'm going to have to retrain myself when…

I have a FB that I interact with people. I'm friends with all of my BF's family. I show him stuff all the time that comes across my fb. I post things for both of us... Why?? Because he can't help himself from trolling people and keeps getting accounts banned. :noway: If we did create a joint fb account when we got married,…

We do the same thing. :drinker:

My story is almost exactly parallel to yours! I was 20 pounds away from goal when I met my boyfriend last year and we've both gained a significant amount of weight, just from being happy and going out to eat, etc. We're also living together, and he's an excellent cook as well! :) We're both trying to get back on track so…

I have to pick just ONE?! LOL Well then it's ice cream.........or cheesecake. I can't decide! :)

ME TOO! :flowerforyou:

It was a total shock (shouldn't have been...but I digress). I was ~150lbs, 5'9" and size 10 my whole life up until college and the weight slowly crept up. I didn't ever weight myself. When I walked into his office and he brought up that I was 230 and 80 pounds overweight, I was honestly shocked. I was in TOTAL denial. I…

I'm at 1810 (more when I exercise)! Feel free to add me!

Fallen off: present. I already lost 50+ pounds once, got complacent (not even at my goal yet!), then I gained it all back plus some! It's for sure hard some days to get up and do it without trudging around feeling sorry for myself because sometimes I think I shouldn't have to work, I already did it once! :grumble: I…

I have my final goal set as my goal here on the site as the big picture, and I keep track of smaller goals on sticky notes. 5% increments. Lose 5%, recalculate, repeat. I'll get about 7 of those to hit my big goal.

I did not one single lick of exercise this week...and lost 1.2 pounds. It's all about what you eat. That said, I know it's not easy, especially if you're traveling for work. Been there, done that. Not diet friendly. When I went on vacation a couple weeks ago, I figured out how many calories I needed to eat to maintain my…

Echoing the suggestion to only go by the the number on one scale consistently. The number my doctor records is his scale number minus 10-15 pounds! HUGE difference.

I use PB2 (powdered peanut butter). A fraction of the fat and calories and can be added to anything! Pretty tasty too.
-
I put it in my smoothies with strawberries, protein powder, ice, and milk. I usually just use 1/2 the serving size for the smoothie... I also like mixing it with water like it says and using it as regular peanut butter! My boyfriend got the Chocolate to try mixing with Vanilla ice cream in the blender and get a chocolate…

Soda and fast food. I didn't plan my drive out to the beach well enough and found myself at fast food places (ate at 2 in one day after not having any period for a couple weeks), and I felt so blah and ugh and gross. No wonder I was always tired before! Soda was weird, I didn't intend to stop drinking them, because…

Everyone's always an expert when they're talking to/about someone else. I used to deal with that where I worked before now (40 women in my department.......) :noway: Congratulations on reaching your goal!! You did it for you and you know what is best for you! :flowerforyou:
-
I know exactly what you're dealing with! My boyfriend and I started dating a year ago, and we were so happy and excited, we both gained about 50 pounds. It was just so much fun going out to eat all the time and hanging around doing nothing because we could. So I definitely think your environment can affect weight loss! Now…

And if it works for you and the women you date, great! I was just saying it would be a no no for *me*. As has been stated, looks like it doesn't bother some women, and maybe it doesn't bother your gf. I don't know...

*Unless* You pick up a hot chick who's been hired by your parents to kick you out of the house (movie: Failure to Launch). Then it could work in your favor
-
I was with you all the way up to when you said you live with your mom. I'm sorry, but you're 30?? That would be a deal breaker for me, but what do I know? That combined with she just took a job working for her ex...I don't see this ending well... :brokenheart:

This is my second time getting back on track, and my "starting" weight (for journey #2) was higher than the last entry for journey #1. It wouldn't have shown any "progress" until about 50 lbs. So I went in and deleted all my previous entries and basically "started over" weight/measurements wise. Not sure if that's your…

I'm 26 (I just counted on my fingers to be sure  ) with no kids, we have a 4 month old kitten and he's enough! Feel free to add me!
