Congrats & you look great! I'm on week 4 of my first round.

I do this weekly, LOL. Usually a Saturday or a Sunday. I usually start logging and then quit mid-day. It hasn't affected my progress and keeps me sane!
-
I take it off as soon as I finish the cool-down

The New York Road Runners also has a tribute tee available. All proceeds go to the One Fund. http://store.nyrr.org/i-run-for-boston-tribute-t-shirt-p1315.aspx

Me too. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Ran 6 this morning for Boston.

This. Intervals will help you immensely! I've been doing Insanity for about three weeks now and have noticed my pace has improved by 40-45 seconds. HIIT has really helped with my speed.

Every day (for now). I'm on my third week of Insanity; I also run on the recovery/rest days. I'll take a day off when my body tells me to.

Thanks for posting. I'm running this evening for Boston.

Agree!

The only thing I've noticed after three weeks of Insanity: I feel good and my running has improved. After strengthening my core and lower body with the various power moves, I've managed to speed up my pace by 40-45 seconds (used to run 10-minute miles and now I'm doing 9:20-9:15-minute miles). I use a HRM for Insanity and…

Watching now. FASCINATING stuff! Thanks for posting.

me too - at least you don't repeat any moves though... still :-\

I rarely ate out as a kid. McDonald's was usually an award for helping with chores, etc, lol. As soon as I was able, I OD'ed on fast food (especially in college)! Not good.

red wine, Chick Fil A spicy chicken sandwiches, Arby's curly fries, and pizza

LMFAO - I rewind this scene over and over when I watch the movie. Hilarious!

I highly recommend Graffiato - they feature small plates so portion control is made easy. Everything I've had from their menu has been amazing. Prices are reasonable, in my opinion. http://graffiatodc.com/menus/ Have fun in DC! If your budget allows, check out the Newseum. Occasionally, Gold Star, Groupon, or Living Social…

Vodka soda with lime. I had a bottle of Dogfish Head 120 a few weeks ago - 450 calories wasted on one beer. I enjoyed every last drop but I doubt I'll do that again anytime soon

I think most grocery stores sell Al Fresco chicken sausage. My fave is the jalapeno: http://www.alfrescoallnatural.com/FlavorDetails.aspx?ID=9780

Moderation. I like those small 8 oz. cans of Coke Zero.
-
I love them both, especially on an Ezekial Cinnamon Raisin English Muffin.

The April edition (print) of Runner's World magazine has a helpful article called "Race Away the Weight." They offer advice on losing weight when training for a 5K, 10K, half or full marathon.

I use a Garmin Forerunner 305 - it came with a heart rate monitor but I never use it. I'm more concerned with pace and distance.

I've fallen off the step in step aerobics class several times.

Jillian Michael's hummus and veggie pita from the Ripped in 30 meal plan. (oops, sorry the image is so huge... trying to resize)

Congrats! I am right behind you ;-)

Agreed. Week 3 is killer.
