You are not alone. I ate chocolate before 9 a.m. this morning and logged it, lol. My diary is wide-open - add me!

I did day one of week three yesterday and I am sore again. I'm resting today and will do day two tomorrow. How is everyone else doing?

For me, running burns about 100 calories per mile. I try not to eat more on the days where I burn a lot but I also make sure I'm consuming enough calories to fuel the workout and recover from it.

YES! Or a burger from Bobby Flay's Burger Palace.

Play Mass Effect 3 - multiplayer. :glasses:

I usually walk at some point during my runs. I LOVE it when I have to stop running and wait at a traffic light or something. I enjoy each short break I can take.

Well-said.

Starting week three of Ripped tomorrow morning. Week two was challenging but I'm ready to move on. I really like those renegade rows - I feel empowered when I do them. Still can't do a "real" push-up yet but I'm determined.

I found out about it on MFP, too. Ordered from Amazon for like $7 - best purchase I've made in a long time.

Crofton. GO RAVENS!!!

You look amazing! So happy for you!

Love this.

A Chocolove bar will last me a few days. I usually eat three squares when I get a craving. I've found the better quality the chocolate, the richer it tends to be so it's more satisfying. https://www.chocolove.com/chocolate.html My favorite flavors are Dark Chocolate with Cherries and Chilies (little bit of heat!) and Dark…

Definitely recommend C25K. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

Correct - same workout for a week and you do each level 5-6 days. I have 5 & 8 lb. dumbbells. Depending on the exercise, I vary between the two. I definitely think I'll be purchasing some 10 lb. dumbbells soon.

LOL

lmao.... me too.

If you're on the bottom floor, I think you'll be fine. There is a good amount of cardio that involves plyometric moves.

Sadly, I haven't seen any results yet but I'm trying to be patient. Plus, it's "Shark Week" so I'm a little bloated right now :grumble: I did take a before pic so hopefully I will be able to see some results after I finish round one of RI30. I ran 5 miles today and will probably do Ripped tomorrow morning, then run again…

What got me out of my rut was the commitment to meet up with others to exercise. I have a few people from work I run with a few days/week - we meet before work and run for about an hour. I rely on them and they rely on me to show up. If you're accountable to someone, you're more likely to follow-through. After I got into a…

Check to see if your town has a Patch website (http://www.patch.com/). My Patch usually advertises smaller community 5K's; lowest I've seen are around $15-25.

DITTO. Go Ravens!!!

I suggest giving it a few more weeks  If you don't get the results you want, maybe boost intensity and/or reps. I started week two of Ripped on Saturday and struggled almost the entire time; I did day two this morning and it was a bit easier. So far, I really like the format and overall workout - it is HUMBLING…

I'm avoiding the gym until the new year crowds subside a bit. I'm doing Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 at home and I run outdoors.
-
You are an inspiration. Congratulations on your huge achievement.
-
Just a hunch but maybe you've hit a plateau already? Try a different high intensity workout to change things up a bit and confuse your muscles. I definitely don't think you should eat less.

Lululemon has something for every athletic activity. I primarily buy running gear from them. The only downside (for some) is the price - very expensive.

Other members have recommended using "circuit training." 25 minutes burns approximately 230 calories.

How did it go?!
