I made a batch of this yesterday for the week and plan to serve it over rice for my husband and cauliflower rice for me. Seems like a ton of ingredients but you just dump everything in an Instant Pot or slow cooker and let it get happy for a few hours. Lots of flavor and protein. Slow Cooker Chicken and Sausage Creole…

Yum... going to try this over the weekend w/ cauliflower rice :)

There are a few in the Ground Turkey thread. Here is one I recently made based on member suggestions. Egg Roll Bowl Ingredients 1 lb (16 ounces) ground pork or beef (I used turkey) 1 teaspoon minced garlic 14 ounces shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (or liquid aminos) 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1…

I made a batch of this for the week - been eating a serving of it for dinner with cauliflower rice. Thanks for the recipe idea, it is delicious!

Debra - Thank you so much for posting this recipe. I am eating it right now with the tatziki sauce and it is DELICIOUS. I'm going to make a double batch next time.

If you are macro-focused, the paid version is awesome. I used the paid versions of LoseIt and MFP for one month - MFP won, hands down for macro tracking. If you are simply counting calories and logging activity, the free version of MFP is sufficient.

Perfect - thanks again!!

Yum... I'm going to make this recipe this weekend!

I started today and oh.my.God... I thought Insanity was tough - this is even tougher!

I like Lulu's running gear for the quality, style, and overall fit. Their Speed Shorts and running capris fit like a glove and wash well. The local stores in my area usually have better markdowns than the website so I've gotten some good deals.

Completed my first round of Insanity. Today was the final fit test. I'm very happy with my results - I worked my a** off, getting up at 4 a.m. daily for the workouts. Lost more inches than weight but I feel amazing - stronger, leaner, and tighter. I purchased Asylum 1 & 2 - the DVDs should arrive this week and I can't wait…

Well-said! If you can help it, don't press pause when you need a break. Do the best you can and go at your own pace.

I'm planning on Asylum 1 & 2. Shaun T's T25 workout is coming out soon - hope to give that a try as well. 25 minutes a day for 5 days straight... sounds like a vacation compared to this second month of Insanity.

Third fit test today plus Max Interval Circuit. According to my HRM, I burned close to 700 calories. I felt surprisingly good after I was finished. Two more weeks to go (for round one, anyway).
-
Just set my desk up for standing today. We'll see how it goes  http://lifehacker.com/5735528/why-and-how-i-switched-to-a-standing-desk

Max Interval Circuit this morning. Ugh. Month Two is NO JOKE. I finally burned over 500 calories after a workout. I was getting discouraged because during Month One, I was lucky if I burned over 300. Loving my HRM!

Well-said! Call it a "Liberation Day" vs. Cheat Day
-
Just started month 2 today. Holy. S*it!

Almost done with week four and look forward to the "recovery" week. Hell of a journey so far... looking forward to the weeks ahead.

lmao!!! Gross! I lived in a group home for about a year when I was a teenager. Institution food is NOT pleasant - every meal was dreadful.

Girl, YES. Our neck of the woods is prone to freaky weather so I am keeping my fingers crossed for us :flowerforyou:

I'm getting hitched on September 28  If I could lose 5-10 by the big day, then great. If not, ah well.
-
Same here  Lately, I've been trying to limit my pours to 4 oz (~100 calories). I'm not gonna lie... it is not enough! :blushing:
