Wow! Lately I've needed a boost to stick with it and that was it. Thanks!

You're not likely to run a fever with IBS alone, so it's possible your broccoli issues were in part due to something else, like a stomach bug. I got pinned with an IBS diagnosis a few years ago, and my major triggers seem to be coffee, artificial sweeteners, and overdoing carbohydrates. I feel best on a high…

You look awesome! It might not be a huge change in weight, but I can definitely see a difference in your muscling and body composition :)

Sounds like a plan to me! SW: 228 CW: 180.6 GW (April): 175.5 UGW: 160-170? Not sure yet. My last weight is from 4/3, so I guess I'll use Wednesdays Weigh in Dates: 4/3: 180.6 4/10: 179.4 4/17:178.4 4/24: 179.6 (whoops) 5/1 Total weight lost: I'd like to add in few kettlebells classes this month. I've only tried it once…

Oh, and congrats on your progress! Stick with it and try not to stress out too much :) This is a long-term change and you don't want to start feeling burned out.

I worry less if I'm getting a good bit of exercise that day. It gives me a "safe range" where I can eat anywhere between right around my baseline allowance and the total after exercise and feel fine about it. MFP is designed to let you eat back your exercise calories and still have a calorie deficit for the day, but I…

I like mine mixed with chopped artichoke hearts, capers (you could also use olives, just a little something salty), lemon and cracked black pepper. Great over some greens. It's also nice warm with sauteed onions and mushrooms and a bit of thyme (and a splash of sherry/white wine if you have some on hand). I like this with…

http://www.simplebites.net/rustic-chickpea-stew-with-apricots-turnip-slow-cooker-recipe/ ^Chickpea Stew w/ Apricots & Turnips. When I made this I did it on the stovetop because I was in a bit of a hurry, but the recipe is written for the crockpot and it was very tasty over some quinoa. And second the chili idea, yum. I…

If you have access to a pool, swimming is good cardio exercise that's easy on your joints and adjustable to your current fitness level (switch up time, distance, speed).

I'm 5'10" At 230ish I wore a US 16/18. Then I didn't buy any clothes for 4 or 5 months (I will blame this on being a very busy student, but it means I don't have any 'in between' info). Currently 178 and starting to think that my 12's might be getting a little big. I'd like to get down to a 10.

Yogurt always sits alright for me when I'm not feeling well. Maybe go for a full-fat greek yogurt like Fage Total for some nutrition density. You can mix in jam or honey or whatever if you want something sweeter. Or how about tomato soup with cottage cheese? That's slurpable. Scrambled eggs are another mild, low effort…

I started at around 230 and I'm working on it. I log in most days and am happy to give support. Anyone is welcome to add me. :)

Okay, that sounds delicious. That's dinner tomorrow sorted.

3rd year vet school here. (Hi, other vet students!) It gets brutal, especially around exams. I got really lucky with my schedule this year, though: lectures 8 to 5, but with a big enough break around lunch to get to the gym on days I didn't have lab.

Hah, no. Just face paint.

Starr Hill The Love, Magic Hat #9, and Delirium Tremens are particular favorites, and I'm a sucker for a chocolate stout. I'm willing to try anything Dogfish Head does at least once, just for the experience.
