Please make a plan, and get out of this toxic relationship ASAP. For yourself and your safety and for your kids and their safety. This is not normal and never will be. He's not going to change, this will only get worse.

Depends on your height/age. Older shorter folks like me, maybe.

Was any testing done on the contestants BEFORE they started the BIggest Loser? Could be they had slower than normal metabolisms to begin with which would partially explain their weight problems.

This plan doesn't have that, I think you may be referring to the Biggest Loser. This plan recommends a 30 min workout daily, and 15 or more min of cardio (heart rate above 120) daily. The emphasis is on gradual changes and diet. On the show, he works with a person over the course of a year, so the weight loss is gradual…

No one else is doing this?

Well, it's officially January. Let the cleanse diets begin. Seriously, a big waste of time. Eat less, move more.

My Core became useless about 2 yrs ago when the "updated" the algorithms and it started adding about 500 calls to my burned amount. I switched to the Fitbit HR this year and LOVE it. Customer service is fantastic and the calorie count is dead on for me.

I just had mine removed, it was easier than I anticipated. Look into CRH O'Regan System banding. It was 3 visits, less than 5 min each and very little to no discomfort. Now I may be the exception, but it was no worse than a pap smear.

Fitbit HR. I LOVE it! Oh and customer service is the best. I had an issue with the charging cable and they sent me a new Fitbit!

How big were the girls when you were thinner? If you gained in your boobs, you'll probably lose there. Mine have always been big and gains/losses don't have much effect on them. It's all in your genetics.

Whoa now, even if she is going to the gym 6x a week and making only salads, that's her right! If he doesn't like it, he can cook for himself.

I have a 25 yr old son with Down Syndrome. I'd love to join the group!
-
Are you eating any snacks? Drinks? I didn't see them in your diary. Also, avoid the quick add calories.
-
BIG red flags here! How tall are you and what do you weigh? Are you within a health range for your height? Why do you want to lose weight, and how much do you want to lose? Maybe your body is craving higher fat foods because you are underweight!
-
MAKE yourself go cold turkey till you can break the habit. Eat a lower calorie snack like a 100 calorie Chobani yogurt instead, or brush your teeth, or chew some gum, or maybe all three of these suggestions. After a couple of weeks PB free it will get easier. I have the same weakness!

From your profile pic, it looks like you don't need to lose any weight. Why not maintain, and enjoy this time in your life instead of stressing over a few pounds that you don't need to lose? Enjoy some nice long de-stressing walks and go into this marriage happy and healthy.

Seriously? This was flagged???? Why?

I don't think you should put oils in your cpap. There is a company that makes oils that you apply to a little paper wafer that you can place in front of the air intake. It's pretty nice to fall asleep to the smell of mandarin oranges. Google Pur-Sleep and you'll find it.

I have had 3 cases of stomach ulcers. During one office exam my gastro dr. was pressing on my abdomen asking if it hurts, and decided to check my gallbladder. From what I understand, once the gallbladder starts to fail, it's downhill from there with no resuscitating it. But, on the other hand, I really don't like the idea…

Whole body vibration? Just sit on top of your dryer for a half hour each day.

copied from from a poster named mymodernbabylon: "Have you checked out the TDEE method of losing weight? If not, it might be worth it. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ (figure out your TDEE and take a 15% deficit). This would be how much you eat every single day. You would not "count" exercise calories as…

They do--it's called menopause and it brings on a whole slew of new problems.

If you open your diary, we can see what's going on. If you are a man eating 1200 calories a day it's no wonder you can't stick to your diet. I'm a 55 yr old 5'4" woman and I eat around 1450/day to lose weight (1900 to maintain). Perhaps you should pick a higher calorie allowance so that you can stick to it for more than a…

Mango & cream and peaches & cream yogurt. The blondes--oh my! The muffin mixes--we love the pumpkin flavor when they have it in the fall. The frozen tamales are really good. So many things!

I've had ocular migraines since I was 18. I still get them occasionally and have a whopping headache that lasts the whole day. I can't take aspirin because of stomach ulcers so I just have to get through it. Staying in a cool, dark place helps.

Smart man. ^^^^^^ She knows if she's gaining. Maybe offer to work out with her without mentioning her weight. And next time some one asks you to do something like this, say hell no right up front!
-
I'm right there with ya. Drink more water, lower carb, veggie soup is your friend. Cut out chips and sweets and go for unprocessed instead, that's my plan.

Boobs.

Due to vanity sizing aiming a 6 in one brand could be a 10 in another. (I wear a 6 in Loft jeans and a 10 in Eddie Bauer jeans) I would have a specific weight or measurement (as in tape measure) goal instead of clothing sizes. If you are happy where you are, welcome to maintenance!
